Hope it works out and he gets a permanent deal there.

He's been a good servant to the club and just kept his head down and got on with it. He's had it tough in his personal life as well. Good luck to him.

Foreseeing the same issues with Nelson and Nketiah.

Well all 3 should be sold really so no issue there. Just a shame we didn’t take the 20m for AMN when it was on the table.

If Wolves indeed put in an offer of £20m for Niles in the summer, why didn't we just take it?

We have been appealing in dealing with exists. Kola on loan. Mustafi is still here. Nelson and Nketiah won't yield much. Ozil agreed to terminate his contract. Niles is here for no reason—as in, Arteta doesn't rate him. Balogun is about to leave for free...

So far, with Edu in charge, we have offered Willian an exorbitant deal, have triggered a release clause, got a 3rd choice GK when we needed a 2nd choice goalie, and have opted for a loan deal for a young talent.

Doesn't sound promising.

Pointless loan. WBA are shipping 3+ goals in almost every game, AMN can't stop that. The momentum has been trending negative since Fat Sam joined, especially as Fulham and Sheffield started to wake up.

Because WBA are poor he'll have less competition and an extended run. Win win for him. Doesn't matter where WBA end up this season.

Another victim of Arteta’s awful closed door policy. Will give old has beens like Willian chance after chance despite him being totally useless, yet as soon as decides he doesn’t fancy a young player much, bang!, the doors slammed in his face. Must be extremely dispiriting for a young player to have to play under that type of management.

Seems like he’s desperate to play midfield so better he does it for another club. Hopefully we have to play West Brom again this season and can face him.

Rather he went to Leicester or Southampton ffs

At least he'll learn how to lose with wba although he was doing that here with Arteta in charge.

Good luck to him. Hope he rips it up and comes back and is awesome for us

Glad he got a loan.

His times up at AFC, better he gets used to being elsewhere, he's had more chances than any youth player.

That tweet about he chose WB because he doesn't want to play as a Fullback at Saints, I mean, he made the England squad as a Fullback ffs.

See this has been his issue, he thinks he's a midfielder .......... cool, but NEVER good enough for AFC, he'd be a worse midfielder than Denilson ffs.

Saliba, Balogun, Nelson, Guendouzi plenty of young talent Arteta is neglecting in favour of inferior/old players like Willian, Elneny and Nketiah

Best case scenario now is that he does well for West Brom and we're able to attract a bigger bid than we received from Wolves last summer. I don't think he'll ever be good enough to play in midfield for us and he doesn't seem too interested in playing as a full-back.

I pretty much echo the same sentiment apart from the issue of him having the ability to play in midfield.

In that I did use to watch a lot of those u18's & u23's video reels from AFC, I seem to remember him bossing the midfield in some games to the extent of appearing as though he was a couple of years older than the other lads on the pitch and nothing was an issue for him.

If anything, the nonchalant way he scored that winning penalty in the shoot-out merely epitomised his cool and unrushed style of play in the middle of the pitch.

The fact he got a call up to the national team as a fullback tells you how wickety wack international footie is.
