Gave the ball away about 5 times in 20mins but from that time on he had a very good defensive game.

Still, think this confirms he's never going to make it at CM, been saying for a few seasons now he may have to just accept the role of WB.

Best game he's had though today.

Best game he has played for us, defensively was a beast today. His passing and keeping the ball is a worry still

Looked good only after we went 2-0 up when Rashford started running at him like a headless chicken and giving the ball away.

Thought he was shit and a liability defensively for most of the game. Also useless going forward. No clue what people saw in his performance.

United away last season when he played CM was his best game

This, after a very shaky start he improved.

He is not a RB though people, remember that!!

Yeah ........... I think your going to have to start looking at that differently.

He's been playing for 3 seasons on and off and he's featured 95% of those appearances as a Fullback.

He must be training in that position and everything.

Ashley Young was a LW and is now a LB ........... AMN doesn't have a future as a CM imo because if he did it would of happened by now, look at Guendouzi, he's 19, is he being put as LB?

Its been years now, think its time everyone including AMN started accepting where managers value him, because neither Wenger or Emery play him centrally, that speaks volumes.

Getting stronger as the game wore on just shows the importance of having confidence. As a young developing player, having the crowed support behind you will do that.

He’s not a CM and never will be.

Improved in the second half yesterday but he was awful in the first. His lack of beating a man and poor crossing costs us big chances given the way Emery wants to play.

Needs big work but yesterday was an OK performance in the end.

Where is he going to play if we aren't in a wingback formation? 3 at the back doesn't suit us except for when injuries leave us no other choice.

First time i ever seen him defend well. For a fullback he is sloppy on the ball and need more time on the ball than he gets. Maybe its easier as cm to be on the ball though lool. Not gonna lie ivdobt rate him at all. But he did welll

AMN’s touch and passing isn’t good enough for midfield at this level

AMN looks very slow since the injuries. AMN.. is to slow on the ball and his passing was shocking .. Besides he hasn't played in a while.

His not more than a handy squaddie. utility player

Absolute beast today, played a part in the first, scored the second goal and made countless massive challenges.

Our best defender by a mile even without the goal contributions.

If he can stay fit and progress, we might not even need a backup right back!
