Was really bad yesterday……league two CM at best….if he does not want to be a full back….then he should get ready for life at league two.

Just doesn't make the right decisions when in possession or out of possession.
That's not easy to teach.

Some things though are impossible to teach or train into a player. Some players are born with that natural ability to do things that others simply can't or at best just don't find easy to do.

You can help a player develop their skills and abilities, and in some cases, see something within themselves that previously they were oblivious to, or didn't have the confidence or belief in themselves to express it and you initially have to mentally drag it out of them almost like an exorcism.

But you can't teach, train or inject things like good nstinct, guile, vision or instant decision making. Things that come naturally and easily to the likes of a Cazorla, Ozil, Fabregas, Hleb, Rosicky etc, will never be on the radar of players like Elnenny and Maitland-Niles.

But, Trent Alexander-Arnold recently played in midfield for Liverpool, during which he morphed into Casper the friendly ghost, so AMN similarly doing nothing of any note in the middle third isn't unique to players who absolutely kill it at right back. Unfortunately though for the academy graduate, Tomi T looks just what the doctor ordered in recovering from Bellerin Syndrome, so...if you snooze you lose.

Let the penalty shoot outs come and then we’ll see what’s what. Your golden boy Saka will fluff his lines, while King Ains pots ‘em pak pak pak.

AMN was fine as CM. We didn't have that problem where we struggled to get the ball into the attacking third and struggled to beat the opponents press. He needs to work on being more progressive with the ball. He did carry it forward at times and tried to play it forrard but he needs to improve in that area. Like Lokonga, I would play him next to Partey if played as CM. That pass from Partey to spark the goal is what we need from our CM's to build an attack.

He played?

On a serious note, ball carrier, nothing more.

He tried obviously but if he is the future of AFC's midfield then we're in trouble.

Wayward passes as well.

6/10 at best.

Yeah, he was lucky to play alongside Sambi and then Partey. I am quite sure he would look awful if his partner was Xhaka or Elneny.

Absolutely a nothing player.
What does AMN bring or add to our first team?.
What is his best asset?

He is absolutely poor in midfield and Poor as a RB the majority of the time I have watched him.

He has been talked up since 2015 but it 2021 now and he still looks like your typical academy player that we normally release on a free each season.

Surprised Arteta even gave him a chance so soon, bit soft really but I guess we were desperate. No surprise he wasn't very good.

There's a good chance Everton will be back in for him in Jan. Benitez said they couldn't sign all the players they wanted in the summer because of caps on spending for loss-making clubs. They spent very little as a result, mostly loans.

Give him credit, good game today and in midfield. He and Sambi worked well together for the majority.

Well played but should improve on his balls in the final third and final balls.
Should get more opportunities in the middle.
