Solid third choice. Better than Szcesny which admittedly isn't saying much but he's younger

Agreed need a loan though, preferably to a BPL side who'd give him first team games apparently Hull are looking into him they're likely to go down and will concede for fun but it would be a good learning experience for him.

Didn't have much to do but did everything well especially his distribution and unlike Szczesny you don't feel he's going to drop a clanger any second no matter what the score.

Next year I see Ospina and Szczesny moving on permanently in search of first team football, I'd be more than happy with Martinez as number 2 next year featuring in the EFL, and CL/FA CUP against the crap teams and for me he's our long term replacement for Cech in the future.

I like him but don't ever see him becoming no.1, he's fairly solid when he plays but he usually plays vs complete garbage and don't see a world class spark in him that we'd want.

Szczesny won't become no.1 either, already said that.

Hasnt he played against Bayern or was it Dortmund in the CL?

Probably one of the best third choice keepers in world football.

What a player he's come a long was since his debut for unlike the clown over at Roma Martinez has a presence and actually instills confidence in the defence.

As long as he sticks about in the next 3 or so years he's going to be our number 1 don't see Ospina waiting about that long and Szczesny will be sold at the end of the season.

Didn't have to do much but what he did do, he did well.

Clearly talented and far better than the clown but he's a long way to go before reaching Ospina level. Cech might have to look over his shoulder though

He's 24 now. Wouldnt mind Wenger slowly moving him into that #2 position. Specially if we lose Ospina next summer. I'm surprised Ospina is still with us.

On another note, it's pretty impressive that the academy has produced: Szczesny, Flappy, Manone and Martinez in such a short time. All four may be prem keepers at some point.
