He did decent yesterday and the goal puts an extra shine on it, but he lost the ball a few times, made some bad passes etc.

My biggest problem is his finesse on his end product and that he rarely picks the best pass.

I just don't see where he helps to make the team better, there are hundreds of players better than him.

Confusing player. Physically good, good close in ball control, good link up play but lousy in the box. Not even sure what his best position is despite seeing him so often.

Deserves praise for tonight performance, set up the first and had a huge role in the 2nd when he could of f***ked up like he usually does. Might be the best game I a have seen from him. Wish we could see more of this Iwobi then his normal self. The talent is there

Agreed. He was so lively and causing problems all game tbf. If he keeps this up, I think he'll get a lot more respect than he does now.

Only saw the highlights but heard he was good.

Never been a fan but having good games against better opposition is the way to win me over.

Still wouldn't start him in the prem, but he can use europa and cup games to prove himself and go from there.

Not one of his fans but it was a slightly better game from him, still has a long way to go to convince he is worth a start, lets hope he continues to play well.

Yes, I thought Iwobi was alright yesterday and so were Auba Mikhi and few others. But was shocked by casual and careless defending against a lower league team ( in reality, this team cannot compete higher than in Championship or Serie B). Lichsteiner's give away was criminal. Made me remember of Squillaci ( one of the most inept players I have seen in PL). He can't be a replacement for Bellerin ( still a poor defender, I think) at this rate.

First half had very good movement, saw a lot of the ball but had zero end product as usual. Then the one good cross he out in resulted in a goal. So flattered to deceive then delivered.

Second half still saw lots of the ball but more flattering to deceive, lost the ball a few times because his first touch was shocking, I wanted him taken off. He was back to his usual self.

So I don't get the praise, it was a pretty average performance with an assist thrown in and thats me being generous.

He set up mkhi who flopped his volley, got balls into dangerous areas lots of times and generally made more of a dent against an parked bus than everyone else before he got subbed.

Lost possession twice late on but that wasn't major.

He tracked and fought hard defensively too imo.

Guess we see different things.

You say he put the ball into dangerous areas lots of times, I say he put the ball where no Arsenal player was so it was pointless and more lack of end product. Why cross a ball to a body of defenders where no Arsenal player is ?
