When is his contract up? Or can we just cut him?

Frustrating game from him again.

Mkhitaryan being even worse seems to go under the radar on here.

Why?

Cut him some slack. You'd need a Ronaldinho, Kaka, Zidane type midfielder to play the role Iwobi is playing.

Top much is being asked off him and Mkhitaryan. We're playing without wingers so he's having to try and play wide. We don't have ball carriers so he has to try and do that as well. There is no link play between the striker, so he to try and play close to the striker..... He's expected to score and assist as well. What sort of player do you lot think have on our hands? It's never going to happen. You'd struggle to get that from anyone unless truly exceptional.

We haven't replaced Alexis Sanchez at LW. Last season we played Welbeck in that role. Now we're playing Iwobi there full time and are seeing what happens when you have pace up top but little creativity.

Iwobi isn't being poor on purpose, he is just worse than the last 2 guys in that position.

We couldn't get Perisic in Jan but he's not exactly a long term solution. The LW problem will persist for a while as we're targeting CBs and CMs as priorities

Plenty.

But that doesn’t excuse him.

At this point we get that Mikhytaryan is past it, injury prone and constantly looks like he just woke up from a depression nap.

Iwobi I feel still has potential. Should have been loaned out but with our injury crisis....
