Raheem sterling is 1 year younger than Iwobi, got 23 goals last year and hasn't got less than 10 goals in a season for the last 6 years. Iwobi is currently on his best season ever with 5 goals. He's championship level at best

Sterling at 17 was light years ahead of what Iwobi will EVER be.

Iwobi is roughly a year and a half younger than Sterling.

Quick reminder that Alex Iwobi is 23, and Raheem Sterling is 24. I want a serious clear out this summer

Sterling bangs in goals for fun now at 24. Iwobi doesnt do much beside meg players

Btw

Our wide players are shocking.

PL Goals & Assists for wide players in the top 6.

Salah 21, 8
Mané 20, 1

Sterling 17, 10
Bernardo 7, 7

Son 12, 6
Eriksen 7, 12

Hazard 16, 13
Pedro 8, 1

Martial 10, 2
Rashford 10, 6

Iwobi 3, 4
Mkhitaryan 6, 4

A wide player with G+A should be Arsenal's main priority.

It's usually an Arsenal syndrome where players are always young.

Walcott was young until he was 27. Iwobi is still treated like he's 19.

The fact that Torreira and Iwobi are of the same age says it all.

Sterling plays like a complete forward.

Iwobi plays like a complete idiot.

I do think that most of the criticism levelled at Iwobi has been justified, as he has not used his undoubted talent to the best of his ability.

However, or to my mind at least, his one saving grace is that he is not a winger but an attacking midfielder being played out wide.

He hasn't helped himself with the numerous goal scoring opportunities he has spurned in such amateurish fashion at times but, I would like to see him played at the spearhead of our midfield for a run of games at least before determining whether or not he has a long term future at Arsenal.

Iwobi's shooting is terrible. Sterling had improved his shooting exponentially as backed up by some of the more technical strikes and long distance efforts he had scored.

Iwobi had no end product and is mostly useless, his only redeeming attribute to me is his ability to beat players and his strength on the ball. But all of this is pointless because he has poor end product.

Sell, he is not Arsenal quality anyway, its about time fans realised that we have accepted a substantial drop in quality now at the club as being adequate. It is not.

Nutmeg king. If only he was a bit more mature and composed in front of goal.

Fingers crossed he has great 2019-20 season. Need him to step up.

That video tells us nothing we don't already know. Iwobi has tricks but little end product.

Needs to be moulded into a deeper position where his lack of decisiveness in the final third is less important
