All of you got excited because of a few goals, this guy is average theirs a reason he never made it at Madrid.

Like I said before Ceballos would have been the better buy, meaning we could actually use ESR in his best position behind the CF.

Yeah I like him but the Newcastle midfield totally bossed him today.

Same problem with Ozil. If the team plays badly then he will struggle.

Every single player on the books should be evaluated under a different manager.

Partey wasn't this shaky and inconsistent at Atletico. Martinelli had goals in him when he started at Arsenal. The less said about Auba at Barca the better.

It's worse because he's nowhere near as good on the ball as Ozil.

Heard a stat that he’s had 2 goals and 1 assist in 2022.

Not exactly mindblowing, still not entirely convinced about his contribution to the team.

I don't think it helps that he's playing in a isolated 10 role.

There's a reason that role started dying out 10 years ago, he'd be better off placed in a 3 man midfield so he can contribute properly to midfield dominance and then use his skills for ball retention and passing forward.

When he's in the 10 who's he passing to? Nketiah, the other guy who's isolated??

This is the issue, in our current shite formation both the no10 and the CF are isolated meaning other teams who play a 3 man midfield just run them over.
