Does his boyhood club have the money to buy him off us?

He was excellent last night and it was a poor decision to bring him off the pitch (unless he was injured)
We lost our slight edge in the game when he went off.

He needs to start getting back to chipping in with goals.

No point just pinging crosses around, Laca surrounded and just moving the ball out wide to Martinelli / Saka isn't producing much.

It'd be nice if he started doing what he was doing in December, letting Laca draw all the CB's deep then Ode arrives in the box late and shoots / scores.

Basically we need our CAM's to act like 2nd strikers because our CF's are not scoring.

I reckon he's due right now over the next 2 or 3 games for some of his better performances, with hopefully a goal or two thrown in to showcase how a prolific goalscorer at the focal point of our set up, could gorge themselves on the abundance of opportunities our attacking outlets are consistently able to threaten.

We need him providing some backup to Laca in the penalty area. Too much of our play comes from the wings, and often there is nobody in the box to play it to.

Well thats the big loss of not having a CM that makes those late runs into the box, how many times did we see Rambo get on the end of pull backs or crosses that ended perfectly to be ran onto and struck ......

It was a joy to watch him play today - one of the best performances I have seen from him (maybe THE best).
His movement, control, vision nd executionl was as good as it gets.
Just a shame he didn't finish his chance off, because that would have been a 10/10 performance.

He’s been pulling off the Ozil body feints. Better not let the mister see that. Send you to the doghouse for that kind of shit.

Get back to helping out with goals.

Just being a centre point for sideways passing won't win us games.

He's good tidy on the ball but he needs to try and act like a 2nd striker more often, didn't pull the trigger enough last night when he could of.

Been disappointed with him recently.

His end product and decision making leaves a lot to be desired at times.

ESR should get a run through the middle next game for me. Martinelli back out wide

I wouldn't remove Odegaard. His ball holding in the middle is pretty good. He has been creating chances through the middle which Laca has messed up.
I agree he should pull the trigger more often.

The best players were the ones who scored the goals to win us the game.

Its about time we at Arsenal think like Liverpool do and value killers in front of goal, pretty football is great but unless there's end product at the finish then what's the point?

Obviously that only goes for the front wingers, CAM and ST, our CM's and defenders offer value in other ways, but we need our forward attackers to start getting more goal orientated.
