Before his leg break he was out performing the king, God and paddy to our poty, shows what level he was at, not sure he was quite as good after but still was excellent.

Maybe I'm remembering wrongly, but wasn't it his ligaments and not a leg break? He was f***ing awe inspiring that season, so good the entire team gave him a standing ovation when they were lifting the trophy.

He got robbed by Nistelrooy for ppoty and poty awards, but won the football writers despite being out for the last few months.
