Strange player. He might be better than holding on simply mental strength and doing the job. Even though holding is more athletic and maybe better on the ball.
Good debate and battle.

considering he was competing with

Kocielny - Mustafi- Maitland-Niles - Mertesacker

that wasn't difficult. CC was rubbish again. He's nowhere near good enough for a top 6 team - nor are ANY of our defenders TBH.

In fact, i'd argue that Wilshere was a better defender today.

Still its all about opinions.

He is not ready. Had two good games, but today showed he's nowhere near ready. Needs another loan. Buy a CB In the winter window and loan him out again imo. There's some potential there, but we can't afford his mistakes right now

It's the EL or bust for us this season. Play them in the FA Cup and sporadically, in the League.

We must field our best eleven in the EL beginning the second leg against Ostersund although that depends on what goes down at their turf. From the Ro16, we can't take any risks. We have to go for it.

They will never develop like that. Loan both and get two average CB's in. Not rocket science. Evans over Chambers/Holding while the latter two are out on loan would be an improvement (Solid) and also help those two develop elsewhere under less pressure

Could have sent both of them out if Gabriel was still here
