It's still very close to call.

Despite Boro being awful last season, Chambers had a good season for him personally and Boro fans heaped praise on him plenty of times.

He also had a good tournament for the u21's aswell.

He's definitely improved and he can only get better so I do find this quite strange as to why we're selling him instead of loaning him out again.

This

They were nowhere near relegation when he was fit. When he was injured, they became the worst team in the league. Was the meanest defence of the league when he was fit.

its greed that has forced us to keep so many average players for too long. Chambers isnt rated by wenger.....move him on. I remember us turning down 7 million for bendtner wanting more. In the end we let him on free

How did he do on loan last season?

I didn't have any confidence in him here. He has had some atrocious performances particularly two matches against Liverpool.

Is he fit? If he is then two LBs paired at CB showed how much Wenger believes in his ability lol

Can't believe we rejected it, should have taken the money and ran or offered Chambers + 20-30M for Mahrez

Then again we rejected £10m for Gibbs, then accepted £7m, so not sure how much faith we can place in this.

I'm seeing sources claiming we want 28M, if that 27M offer is real we should take it as it would basically cover the mustafi transfer.

Koscielny, Mustafi, Holding, Mertesacker, Monreal, Bielik is enough numbers wise with a switch to a back four and all of them aside from Birlik are better centre backs than him anyway, heck it's probably enough for a back 3 too Chelsea managed to survive with just Azp, Luiz, Cahill, Terry and Zouma who was injured for most part of it.

Big question mark, why he didn't even feature in the squad yesterday.
If we don't intend to use him, we should have accepted Leicesters bid for him.
Imo he should get the time Holding is getting at least. Holding has been shit this season, but is still playing.

Same with Debuchy. With Oxlade leaving, he isn't a bad alternative to Bellerin. Why not use him, instead of freezing him out. He is getting his wages anyway. With playing him we could justify these wages and maybe get other teams interested in him, if we intend to drop him soon.
