Gutted for him. He's been ok this season and really, really good at times.

Think he will end up being sold sooner or later. Shame really since this was the season where he had a real chance of making it here at least a regular squad player.

Holding Chambers was never to be sadly.

This guy is almost always injured, I just don't see a future for him, he's just one of those injury prone players who will always get injured shortly as he starts to settle into the team, much like players like Diaby, Rosicky etc.

If we can get money for him we should sell him, we need the money and it's probably best to cut our losses now.

He'll come back weaker and slower, and less willing to make hard tackles. Happens with everybody who goes through a ruptured ACL, they're all human after all.

He really shouldn't be at the club, not good enough, we are just wasting our time.

Would rather loan him out than sell him. Good squad player who can cover four positions and HG. Every big team needs a few of those.

West ham also interested in loaning him out. So I guess one of them or Newcastle will get him on loan.

Everyone wants to either lowball us or loan our players (we’ll probably have to have them back at the end of the season).

Newcastle offered peanuts for AMN then signed that Barca guy for 29 million, think we need to improve our negotiation skills. Loan deals should be offer the table for players like him, sell him or keep him as a backup.

You're mistaking Wolverhampton for Newcastle, but agree with you principally, that we are shit at negotiating good deals.

I do see the benefit of loaning Chambers out though. He comes back from a very long injury and will take time to get to his best and we are overstacked in the defense.
Next year he can come back and have a role as a versatile HG squad player who can cover RB, LB, CB and DM.

Sorry yes Wolves, Newcastle we’re after Holding on a loan.

Re Chambers, he’s been here years to be honest and isn’t that great in defence, he’s also very injury prone so maybe it’s time to cut our losses and accept he won’t make it here and move him on.

10 or so good games in the last days of Emery. That obviously means he's going to come back and boss it in defense, post-ACL rupture.

At least that's what we should tell Fulham if we flog him back to them again. Their POTY 2018/19 after all.

Starting alongside Saliba for the under 21’s, good to have this man back our third best CB after Luiz and Gabriel
