Djourou was actually a good defender especially in 10/11 then he got injured and he was never the same again.

He is far from an ok RB lol, anytime he's playing against a winger with pace he gets exposed.

My guy still wakes up with night sweats over a bloke who had Baby jeff on the back of his shirt before he joined Swansea

Not really a fan of him but he seems like one of those players that would flourish under the right defensive coach like Mourinho/Poch or the right system which doesn't leave him too exposed like peps city so depending who we get in I would not mind keeping him.

Looked error prone when he came on but settled after that.

Said at the time it was make or break for him cos he flopped on loan at Boro but with Kos finished and the new manager looking on, he had a chance to stake a claim for a first team spot

It wasn't the horror show we all expected which is an improvement and maybe there might be something there the new guy can work on

For 16m he should already be good enough but Wengers going to wenger him up so whilst I wouldn't cry if he was sold, he could be worth keeping

I think Holding, Chambers and Mavropanos would make a good set of 3rd, 4th and 5th choice. They'll also get good game time in Europa

Send Holding on loan to a good, football playing side where he'll get regular game time.

Buy a world-class CB.

Mustafi would be an able deputy to Mavropanos. :hail:

We need three experienced CBs to rotate and those three as back up imo. I’d be happy to sign two top CBs and keep mustafi as third choice.
