Nope, they started equal number of games. Apparently, Southampton fans thought he was the bigger talent

Trust Wenger to ruin a career. Same guy was okay for Boro, but can't defend at all for us.

Yup. A fair few rated him ahead of Shaw at the time. Both players have since been either misused or lacked coaching.

Lets hope Burnley are keen on signing Holding on loan again before he's another one that gets added to the list.

Like you said, Chambers was decent last season at Middlesborough.

His position doesn't matter. The fact is he got played regularly before joining us. Ach is very wrong.

He’ might be wrong, but he’s not ‘very’ wrong.

He's.

Bournemouth before Chambers' injury were midtable. They got zero wins while he was out. They again won a couple of games when he returned, but not enough to get away from relegation. They'd be safe if he hadn't got injured.

That's how wrong he is

wenger has made him slow as hell. He is not a good player imo. He lacks athleticism. For me he is a poor version of senderos....yes senderos was bigger talent. Him and Holding are here only because of their passport

TIL Chambers is good enough to single-handedly keep a team from being relegated, yet he's dog shit everytime he plays for Arsenal.

Funny how that works.

You mean, he's good enough to form a good defensive partnership under a manager who believed in defending.

Chambers was a bit part player for Southampton who got in the team cos of clyne injury. Was never good enough for us to buy at that price.

Went on loan to boro where he stunk the place up and boro went down. Not entirely his fault but telling his cb partner Gibson was getting all the plaudits in a struggling team whereas he was garbage.

Yet he's starting for us the following season.

That Liverpool game still gives every arsenal fan nightmares.

Calum Chambers (21)

Doesn’t matter who is right or wrong about chambers before he joined us. Right now the fact is he isn’t good enough!
