Junior Gunner membership is silver equivalent. Basically, they get cheaper tickets if you go in the Family Enclosure with them (though watch out for Block 26, the Ashburton Army lot get quite sweary and throw themselves about a bit).

Tickets booked for the Leeds game in the cup.

Taking the wife for her first ever Football match. First ever Arsenal match.

Expecting a lot of moaning and complaining about the weather, how cold it is, can't see anything from that high, travelling distance, how boring it is etc.

Just hope she can live with me doing all that

Anyone else noticing difficulties with the ticketing site? Seems massively slower lately and also when TicketExchange seats show available they always appear to have bene taken, but still show even after a refresh. Just seems to be on a go slow lately. I'm using Edge browser so not sure if something else is better. Cheers.

How are Emirates cup (friendly) tickets more expensive than some League Cup matches lol ?

£40 to sit on the halfway line to watch a friendly ...

Are we not allowed to go see Bodo away?

Its the 1 trip I want to make!

It's a tiny stadium, it might already be sold out. Also it's a hell of an expensive away trip. Unless you can find a charter trip you're looking at a two night stay.....and food / drink / taxi fares etc at Norwegian prices to pay for while you're there. It's nowhere near Oslo, it's in the middle of nowhere

It's a £600 trip once everything is factored in

Yeah.....my wife isnt letting me go. =(

After a whole day of research, the best way to go there:

Fly to Trondheim, take the train from there to Bodo ( its a 10 hour trip but you get a bed and everything and they say the trip in itself is quite nice )

First problem arrives here, because there is only 1 train, and it arrives at 17:44 GMT +1 on the matchday, so like, 1 hour before the game.

The flight to Trondheim back and forth I could find for under 200 euro ( 198 to be exact lol )
The 10 hour train ticket is between 20-30 euro

Problem is, my wife is like, thats a whole lot of costs for a MAYBE. Since I cannot confirm the fact I will have a match ticket, the whole thing gets even more complicated.

I really want to go =( Norway is on my list of places Id like to visit and how epic would it be if I could combine it with an Arsenal match..

Norway is great. Whether you visit the Feuds or do a city break in Oslo, both are lovely places

Just remember that everything there is eye-wateringly expensive.

You can't.

Progression to silver is by invitation based on availability and how long you've been waiting. It could take 15 years

If you're serious about attending matches regularly,

1) Join the ST waiting list

2) Wait a couple of years

3) Badger the ticket office during every close season even if you're nowhere near the top of the list. Tell them you are willing to take any seat.

That's how you get your foot in the door. Waiting for silver membership to come and save you is a nonsense.

In any case, silver membership isn't what it was. I know silver members who are also struggling to get tickets

Silver is a waste of time now, first of all it takes longer to get than the ST. Been on the waiting list for both for almost 10 years, for the season ticket I'm 13,000 in the queue and the silver I'm still 60,000+.

Missed out last year during the 'covid holiday' period where they offered me a season ticket but I missed the email and therefore the deadline by 1 f***ing day. Now they've essentially expanded the pool of ST holders (to allow everyone to come back) and reduced the number kept for red/silver and the rest of the scrubbers like us.
