Our next 5 league games are:
Southampton
Man U
Wolves
A Villa
Leeds

Followed by:
Man City
Leicester

We could just as easily lose those five games as we could win them. If we want to do anything of note this season we need to treat each of those games as cup finals and find the best way to outsmart each of those teams because best believe each of those teams will have a game plan tailored specifically for us

Don’t even know where to start, this lineup we put today was obviously going to lose from the start. Xhaka does not work against high intensity sides, Willian cannot play as a CAM, you want to rest ESR that’s fine play a different formation without a CAM, having two goalkeepers on the bench but no Reiss Nelson.

He doesn’t help himself with his substitutions either, taking off Martinelli, moving Saka to left back after bringing him on when we need a goal so Nketiah who is awful can stay on the pitch.

Marinelli made sense with his recent injuries. Saka bit I agree with though given what we had up top.

Would've left Bellerin on and just taken Eddie or Willian off for Laca.

Arteta finds a workable formation and then removes the players that make it work.

Another teachable moment for Mr Work Experience.

Lineup today didn't annoy me, we needed a bit of rotation.

Its how out of ideas Arteta is setting a team up offensively which is been my problem.

Even the last 6 games with 5 wins or so, we need the other team to make mistakes and counter attacks. We can't break teams down with a good strategy consistently.

This isn't just a squad and quality issue, its something we have seen consistently with Arteta. We seem to do either very well or poorly vs the bigger teams just sitting back and countering, but unless we play against a very poor, incompetent team, no matter the lineup, Arteta struggles to find solutions to get a result.

Despite him saving his job, i still have major doubts. If he doesn't get at least top 6 or wins Europa, there no reason to keep him here for 2021-2022

Don't know if I can be arsed but I want to see the stats of games where Willian, Pepe and Nketiah have started and when Elneny and Xhaka have started.

Nketiah vs Lacazette would be interesting!

The club is changing bit by bit every year. We went from aiming for titles to aim for CL qualification. Then had few years in Europa league now qualifying for Europa is seen as success. If Arteta finish 8th this season he will keep his job. Next season if he finish 7th he will have done better

We just have to accept where we are as a club. Next 5-6 games he will lose most imo and people will still argue he needs his players and no one out there can do better. The sooner people accept we as a big club in terms of football is over, the better for everyone. No other big club would keep the manager performing like Arteta

When Willian and xhaka have started
We beat molde 4-1 home
2-1 loss at Everton
1-0 defeat at Southampton
When elneny and xhaka have started
1926 minutes
We have scored 45 goals and conceded 18
That’s a goal scored every 43 mins
1 conceded every 107 mins
