He should be sacked just for playing Willian in that game. Talk about double standards. How long was Maitland Niles out of the team for turning up late to training? Disgraceful.

That was a shocking performance even before the sending off. A very weak midfield trio that lacked creativity and weren't on the ball enough. We desperately need Partey and Elneny back asap because there was zero control. When that happens chances of creating anything decent dips significantly.

Yeah Marsbar is right it’s one thing you can’t fault Arteta for when we have 10 men we don’t get embarrassed like Wenger used to conceding 5+ goals, as far as I can recall we lost 2-0 city, 2-2 draw with Chelsea and 0-0 draw with Leeds with 10 men under Arteta.

Down to 10 men we came from a drawing/losing position and win loads of times under Wenger

The early days when we had good players, but the last few years under Wenger games like Chelsea, City and Bayern come to mind where we just get destroyed and ship goals for fun.

Honestly would prefer Brendan Rogers at this point.

We need a manager who can get teams to fight and attack properly, something we're doing neither of since the Utd game.

First Aston Villa now Leeds players on half their wages embarrassing them, £75m Pepe looked no better than Leeds wingers.
Their attacking game was certainly better than ours that's for sure, its embarrassing.

This is why we may as well go back to shutting up shop then hitting on the break, that's how we almost scored twice, once with Auba and once with Saka late in the 2nd half when we went to 4-4-1, both by hitting on the break, there's no point in us trying to play creative football because we suck at it and don't have the players for it.

Been saying this for weeks.

We need a complete revamp up top, I doubt we will compete without spending 200m on attacking players

He said in his interview "Leeds are one of the best teams in the league".

They're 15th ffs, shut up Mikel, every team is one of the best teams when they play us.

Tottenham are on almost double the amount of points as us, its an utter disgrace, we really need to dump trying to play fancy football and go for aggressive counter attacking football with a strong defense, like we did when we were winning games.

Us trying to become a creative team without the correct personnel is what's killing us.

It won't make a difference if we can't get the ball into the final third and keep it there. He needs to allow the players to have more freedom to find space and come closer to get to the ball.

Allegri is another Emery level manager, don’t see the likes of Klopp, Pep, Ancelotti leaving soon either so the next best thing is Rodgers or Nagelsmann who we can realistically get, I Think if we pushed for him we could also get Conte. Simone is on ridiculous wages and he’s too negative so I don’t think that’s an option.

Edit: I forgot about Poch we should be all over him tbh, Arsenal need to be ruthless and do it before United sack Ole and bring him in, otherwise we’ll have another Wenger situation where we miss out on top managers like Klopp and Pep because we took too long to sack the current coach.

Same Rodgers who just got tonked 3-0 by Liverpool who had an OAP CM, recent injury returnee and a DM in their back 4?

Rodgers got outplayed by Arteta's Arsenal for 60 mins as well, he's f***ing awful. All for a switch if there's a good option but toeface isn't a good one.

If we are taking a manager from the league it should be Hasenhüttl. Unrealistic though

Very boring and frustrating game. All we do is defend defend defend every Prem match. We just don't create chances, we are playing like Tony Pulis Stoke. Get stuck in, everyone behind the ball, make it hard for the opposition, work our socks off etc etc...

..But there is no flair at all, virtually no creation. Its really boring. We are bottom half of the league and many teams have played a game less than us. I'm not happy at all.

I know people will say 10 men, but we had 11 men for 55 minutes and we were doing the same tactics, and every other game we had no sendings off and still the same.. we badly struggle to create anything at all, its a huge problem.

Yet Leciester are 4th ........... if we were 4th we'd be celebrating.

I'm not saying we should get Rogers, but if there is no one else I'd consider him, Leicester has been punching above their weight for years now.

No question he's out of his depth, and no surprise, a zero experience manager with a very poor squad in the toughest league on the planet .... we could appoint any manager we want, or indeed who would want us, and it won't make much difference

Ceballos, Xhaka, Pepe, Willian all midfield starting players who wouldn't get on the bench at any other top EPL side ... Laca and Auba who will have a combined age of 62 come the summer as our striking partnership ... and a defence that allows 20+ shots a game against us ....

Any manager, Arteta included, would look at this squad and want rid off about a dozen players, that's an impossible position to be in and one that will take at least another two seasons too fix

Out: Luiz, Sokratis, Willian, Ozil, Auba, Laca, Soares, Mustafi, Xhaka, Kolasniac, Pepe, Holding, Ceballos .... only then can any manager hope to turn things around.
