Getting the luck though. Goal keeper error last week, penalty weekend and an og this week. We can't score without an error from the other side. Concerning

Apart from the 2 we did score

I should've said opening goal

4-1 your laughable.

The agenda is real.

Wasn't 4-1 when I made that post so I don't understand the point you're trying to make.

Were we shit up to that point? Yes. Did we get a lucky goal again?

Yes

Tell me what I said wrong

Luck is part of the game.
We are going through a building process and this was mainly squaddies vs pubbers. Not a bad outing at all at 4-1.

It is but that's all we are relying on. We can't create shit until we get a lucky goal and the other side have to open up.

If we don't get one, Leicester and Man city happen. 2 toothless performances.

Hopefully the manager can sort creativity

This group is utter dogshit, winning by a 3 or 4 goal margin should be expected. We should not be conceding goals to teams from Norway, Ireland and Austria.

If this is how Arteta's setting up for the group stage, we will lose against proper opposition in R32 or R16.

Rosenborg beat Ajax home and away in 17/18
Red bull Salzburg lost 4-3 at Anfield last season
We beat Dundalk 3-0

4-1 and some complain we play ........ "To defensive".

I haven't seen us sit back to win a game since the Charity shield.

The first goal we scored was in the 69 min against a Norwegian team.

A goal is a goal. Counts the same whether it was scored in the 1st minute or the 69th minute.

Easy win against whipping boys but Arteta will need to up his game considerably when we come up against anyone half decent or it will end like last season, it’s been hard going at times in this competition.

Find it odd, this competition offers a CL place and yet Arteta doesn’t seem as focussed on it as he should be, the league and this competition are the ones that matter and too 4 in the league is going to be touch and go.

This competition gets overlooked when actually it’s the 2nd best prize we can get this season after winning the league.
