Thank you Don Mikel.

Bizarre player management / selection decisions but apart from that really positive.

Need to be on the front foot for rest of the season. Hope an injury free Partey and a rejuvenated Willian pushes us up to EU spots.

That's going to hurt the club a lot next season. Arteta hurt the value of a lot of our young players in favour of older players that likely won't play much of a role next season. If we manage to win the Europa League you can say it paid off but that's unlikely.

I don't see how the club will manage to improve the squad next season without massiv investments by KSE. Ceballos and Odegaard leaving, only players with any value are the key players that you definitely don't want to sell. Older players like Auba, Laca, Willian and Luiz will decline even more.

Tough job next season for Edu and Arteta, but overall self inflicted.

If we don't win the Europa League, Arteta has to walk man. 8th or 9th place finish without a trophy or European football for next season is simply unacceptable for a club like Us

Credit to him for not telling the players to shut up shop after going 2-1 up. We were close to conceding a 2nd right at the end, that 3rd goal was crucial.

That's not going to happen.

Even if we crash out in the Ro16 and finish 10th, he's here to stay.

Unless and until Arteta loses the dressing room, he won't be sacked. We might be out of all competitions and a top-6 fight by January next year, and he'd still remain Arsenal manager come the summer of 2022.

He is Josh Kroenke's project and Edu's job remains safe as long as Mikel is here. He's not going anywhere.

The football we've been playing since december has been the most promising in many years. If it continues, Arteta will be our manager next season aswell. If people can't see that our game is improving, they know little about football and i feel pity for them.

Agreed, for me it must be a 6th place finish at the very least or Arteta must walk. Getting the team playing is a step in the right direction but doesn't excuse the bullcrap we have been served up until now.

The season lasts 38 games plus the various cup games. A few improved performances here and there does not carry more weight than the bullshit we have seen up until now.

If you think it does then it is YOU that knows f**k all about football. We may as well get shit Wenger back, he was good for a few decent performances now and then!

So in 3 years? Because even Wenger's worst season was still better than what we have seen this season.

In terms of pure goalscoring, yes, but we're defensively a better team than we were in Wenger's latter years. I don't have the exact figures but I'd wager our scoring figures since December are roughly on par with what we'd expect to see from the 2017/18 Wenger team.

Yeah Europa or not, AFC have put all their eggs in this basket.

If he wasn't in danger after that 8 games in a row of losses then he certainly isn't going anywhere soon.

The thing is Stan Kroenke know's and cares even less about football, he doesn't know what to do so he just leaves it to Vinai .......... who himself is an overblown Accountant.

I honestly think Arteta will be here for at least 2 seasons if not more, I think he'd have to finish outside of 10th two seasons running to be in trouble.
