Doesn't matter, Flamini had more completed passes than Arteta in the first Napoli game but would you rate him better in passes?

Flamini is the better defensive player.

If he tackles (much) more frequently and successfully, and is a hell of a lot better in attack, it's a no brainer for me

What that Flamini is the better player?

If Arteta is better in attack how come he hasn't scored this season but Flamini on the other hand .............

All about those stats remember?

Only thing Flamini has on Arteta is his engine, allowing him to get into attacking positions more often. Arteta obviously superior.

You were using your big games argument before Arteta went on to destroy Liverpool and Dortmund.

f***ing love Arteta. Him and the c*** are the sole reason why we finished in the top four for the last 3 seasons. He really deserves a big send off and hopefully that send off will be a major trophy.

He did well in those games and Flamini has done well in others however if we need to defend I know who I'd rather have at CDM.

Arteta got bullied in the Everton game and almost cost us when he got robbed in the last 5mins, you can't have CDM's getting robbed when they are in possession of the ball.

That's what happened to Jack against City and you saw what happened there.

Always got to have the last word don't you Massa.

Well I'd direct you toward the line of questioning that as you preceded the statement of "Arteta better at keeping the ball than Flamini" it is behest to you to provide at least the first said piece of evidence as to why such an accusation was stated as supposed fact?

Only stats I can think to find are these tables of which Arteta tops all but one

Think Arteta is pretty decent at keeping the ball

Nice try Sherlock.

That was last season before Flamini was even here and Arteta had that position all to himself all season so hence he picked up a bunch of prime stats.

It'll be his last season if we find a replacement. Oh wait. Usually replacements don't come until 2-3 years after a player leaves...
