Players have to be given something to play for. You’re either competing for the title, entry to Europe or avoiding relegation. Clubs caught between 6 and 17 really have nothing to play for. It doesn’t matter if you finish 10 or 14.

we're gonna lose a star youngster in martinelli soon because the manager persists on playing bloody willian.

one of the most exciting youngsters we've had for years.

Mikel Arteta 'facing Arsenal revolt after senior players express frustration at being blamed for team's woes'... while Spaniard's tactical prowess is also 'being questioned' with club in bottom half of the Premier League

yep it rarely turns around after that.

players only believe for so long before they begin seeing through the BS.

he probably hasn't handled things well behind the scenes when it comes to certain aspects but then he's never managed before so what do you expect. he's learning on the job.

hence why he should have taken a job in the championship first to build up experience instead of being given such a big job.

If we don’t take all three points again today it's 5 games in a row without a win.

He may have hit the self sabotage button again.

The second Arteta banished Ozil, it was the beginning of the end.
He's gone on to treat other players like sh#t.
Not even an experienced manager with a big history of trophies could get away with how Arteta acts.

But you can bet the farm that certain senior players will be plotting their PR messaging to absolve themselves of any blame. We all know which players.

The route for Arteta is to do what he should have done from day 1. Dump the vast majority of the squad.

Look at Leeds, they are in contention in every game they play, every bloody game. Took 4 points off Man City this season, down to 10 men and still won the game

Nonsense. Other managers are doing much more with much less than Arteta has Jay!

I disagree.
I think our players are of the quality that matches our league position.
There are only 4 or 5 players good enough for Arsenal.

The beginning of the end.

Liverpool and Slavia games were the first time I felt that the players aren't with him anymore. By the time the 3rd Pool goal was scored, we had completely given up. And the pathetic show v Slavia was more of the same.
