Tbf very, very lucky man tonight. Tierney, Saka have saved this mans job. Benfica once again, no better than a mid table Championship team and we've just about scraped through. Massive win, yes ffs but we really need to improve to even think about winning this competition.

Arteta and Ceballos can put the Xanax down and change their underwear.

Living on a lifeline.

Saka saving his ass again

Players scored goals off of well-worked goals. That is their job.

I can easily turn this around and say: "He was very unlucky, Ceballos almost cost him the job". The reality is we were the better team by some distance in both legs and we deserved to go through.

Needs to go. PEA and Saka have been bailing him out since he arrived.

We have a rising crop of talents that will never see the light of day in the senior team if he persists with Luiz and Willian and his other over-the-hill pals.

We are only allowed to be critical when we lose?

Defense was supposed to be his big accomplishment. That has not been the case. Our attacking has suffered disproportionately, and our possession-based approach does not create nearly enough chances to be worthwhile. We have gotten turned over on counterattacks numerous times.

My opinion is that our goals are coming in spite of him, rather than because of him.

No not at all. At least it's consistent.

We lose: Arteta's shit.
We win: Arteta's shit.

Don’t get me wrong
There were certain aspects tonight that showed concerns that Arteta is the man to carry us forward
We seemed to be playing by numbers at certain points
But we win and lose as a team
That needs to be remembered when looking at ceballos
Undoubtedly a night to forget but remember his last minute quarter final fa cup winner at Sheffield united
