Unironically think we've been bang average all season and somehow we're #1.

To think that we're top of the table and people were calling for his head semi-recently. Just goes to show how Mikel has resurrected this club along with its standards.

Surely no one was calling for the manager to be sacked!
We've been near the top all season and now sit top.

It's a good record shame he has already thrown one title away.

All started to click in Dec 2020.
Been building and building since then with some brilliant transfer windows and change in culture and some tactical brilliance from the Don.
Its a great winning record... now needs another trophy.

Haha his post-match interview on TNT Sports they kept trying to ask him about Ramsdale and he kept just saying “I think the team played very well.”

Loved his reaction to Havertz at the end of the game.
Top manager.

Again, another day Eddie will hit two and everyone will be confused.
Havertz has been killed and buried so many times on this forum, already twelve times at least.
This forum lives on knee-jerk reactions.
No room for anyone to settle down.
Even Henry took 3-4 months to found his feet.

Henry and Bergkamp came from a different league,
Arteta IMO miss managed Havertz he should never had started when the EPL started every one could see him struggling

Yes indeed.

Havertz has now contributed vitally in two games that won us both those games - assist vs City and then todays winner.
Massive moments that won us 4pts, turning draws into wins.
He's also done a good job all season working for the team with the press and defensively from midfield.

Eddie was superb at the start of the season, winning us points and has 5 goals for us.

Both playing their part to get us to the top of the league.

We have all different quality players who'll all contribute at different times in the season . That ensures a robust versatile team. That will only take us over the line. Not the same group is expected to deliver every day.
Different players have different qualities, and that makes the team unpredictable and a feared one. Especially, from opponents perspective. Also, different players need different time and space to start delivering. There's no one size fits all, shoes.
Willian, checked all boxes to be successful at Arsenal, but, unfortunately didn't work out. Rice hot the ground running from day one, Havertz, been more of a struggle. Happens to all teams and to all managers. No point in skinning the player/ manager/ club at slightest of inconvenience, when most other things are going more than ok. Like being near or at the top of the league!
