Indeed it was. Had me scratching my head when I saw M&N in the starting lineup, then 30 minutes in I was wondering Mahrez was. He was smothered!
No room in the middle for them and no room on the flanks either. And we could have been 3 up at the half.

Great to see Luiz having that chat with M&N at the final whistle. Solid leader and a fine defender when he is not trying to do it all.

We are a team again.
He/His/Non-Menstruater/Postmenopausal/non-vaginal male. Yup all man!

Dont win games buy amount of completed passes, it's the ball in the onion sack that counts. Arteta would have been on the end of a few of the city type losses in his day.
He should recognize the hardest set up to break down when playing with massive amounts of possession

Think I read 10 players were involved in the first goal

Who was the one that wasn't?

At this rate people will forget Simeone. Defensive masterclasses, back to back w/ about 30% possession. Amazing!

Great tactical performance as has been said; in a way it's what used to happen to us a few years after the Invincibles. Can't remember the year (2006 maybe?) but we battered West Ham at home and lost either 1 or 2-0. It's a Plan B. We can't pass Man City off the pitch but we have a hell of a striker and a team who buy into the need to defend and win ugly, so we do it. They had 79% possession but no goals. Still early days but when the team can see that what he tells them to do works, and that they have the ability to make it work, it can only breed confidence and belief. So happy!
Good old Arsenal, we're proud to say that name
