No, he wasn't but I don't think the club could sack another manager. Maybe that's why they just gave him a load of money to make it work. We're doing OK at the moment, but we'll see.

In his first 18 months before he was sacked for destroying the club and leaving us in ruin, Emery was given about the same money as Arteta was in his first 18 months.

The difference is Arteta won something in his first 18 months and had already started the transformation of the club to save us from the total mess Emery (and Wenger before him) had created.

It was always going to take time, but it’s astonishing just how amazing the turnaround has been.
The Arteta haters are very few and are limited to the humiliated who recognised too late the progress we were making and entrenched themselves so far down that they have no where to turn except to pray we lose games so they can moan.

I don’t k is where to start with this lol.

Emery wasn’t given the same amount of money at all, as I’ve told you many times boss, the club made decisions about the players it wanted to buy, Emery did not want those players, this does not equate to being given money when you don’t get to choose the player.

Emery came in after 20+ years of Wenger, came in got to a EL final and got 5th (should have been 4th), then the following season he got sacked after a poor run, Artera meanwhile survived coming 8th twice and also bottling 4th all whilst getting huge fortunes and outspending all other managers.

As you can see even opposition fans don’t rate him that highly, they’re not haters at all either they’re just unbiased and look at what he’s achieved.

You don’t like the reality and like to pretend he’s better than he is but opposition fans would prefer Emery or Pochettino which of course doesn’t fit into your pro Arteta agenda, because of this you label everyone that doesn’t agree haters when actually it’s you that cannot provide a balanced point of view that doesn’t include overhyping this manager ridiculously.

No one cares about 2nd place and what’s he’s done so far, you can see that from fans who would prefer other managers from the PL, they look at what he’s achieved and the amount of money he’s had and aren’t that impressed and why would they be, it’s nothing special.

You're not an Arsenal fan.
All Cups , Shields and trophies signifies the glory and achievements of the club.
Ask a ManU or a 'Pool supporter if they want to ignore and forgo the 19 and 15 Community shields they have amassed over the years. I'm very proud of our 17. Sorry for you people, who'll probably find ways to belittle all our achievements. By the way nearly 50-60 thousand Arsenal fans showed up for the lowly Community shield showdown. So it does mean something to them.

Lol exactly, the minute you have to include Charity Shields in your argument is the the moment you have no argument.

He won one FA cup, but that was with Emery’s squad not even playing the way he wanted his team to play very early on, since he’s started implementing his methodology the teams performance in cups has been abysmal.

Community Shields that are not even preceeded by a trophy.
Waiting for the top 4 trophy to be rolled out.

People are laughing at you including Charity Shields pal, you’ve done it twice nice and both times it’s been the same, it seems to me you don’t learn your lesson that people don’t take these seriously.

CS is a nice day out in a now pressure game they call a curtain raiser, it’s not a serious competition or game, as I said I used to laugh at people that included those in Wenger’s achievements because they don’t mean a lot, as someone said we didn’t even really earn the right to be in it this year anyway, we were in it by default because of City.

Posters pray for Arsenal to lose just to moan?

Lol

Never seen anyone do that on here. I have however seen someone absolutely hate our last trophy win. Wonder who that was?...

Note Ag, I said last trophy win. The FA Cup. Not the Community crap

I was one of them Coco.

I was one of them. A day out at Wembley? Never turn it down. The thing is I see the CS for what it is, and for what real football fans understand it to be. A one off match. Of little real consequence. It's a nice day out but it's not historic. And 50-60 thousand wtf are you on about? I was there, we had half the ground minus FA seats the same as every other club.

It's for small clubs to gloat over, not Arsenal.

You are not interested in glory for Arsenal, going on about the CS like you're trying to prove a point to kids in a playground......you're padding out. You're gift wrapping. That is the exact opposite of wanting what is best for the club. Putting best spin in failure only leads to more failure.

They also said they’d take Emery over him as well due to his achievements and felt that Emery didn’t get the support Arteta got, sacked quickly whilst Arteta got full support despite two 8th places and also bottling 4th.

Dunno about that Spurs pubber but yeah I would take all the other managers over Arteta.

The reason they chose Pochettino is he made Spurs challengers, got them to a CL final playing good football and also won at PSG, they also thought he’d made a difference at Chelsea already.

De Zerbi was in there due to the style and quality of Brighton but doesn’t have the success so far. Postecoglou has success at other clubs but it’s early days in the PL so far.

Arteta didn’t seem to be rated that highly by opposition fans.

Well thats exactly the reason I would take Poch anyday over Arteta. He proved his credentials at Southampton and at Spurs. Spurs under Poch were more than a thorn in our side.

Bro I don't know a single Arsenal fan that cares about or classes the Community Shield as a major trophy. Born and raised in Holloway, been to games at Highbury and the Emirates, had a season ticket at the Emirates.

Yes you’re right I forgot about Southampton, he turned them into a decent side for their size before Spurs.

We can see it with Chelsea now, he seems to affect what happens at clubs, quite quickly as well.
