About as good a preseason tour you could ask for. Still plenty of deadweight to shed and perhaps a couple more upgrades, but the foundation is there for a run at top 4.

Its going to be more telling against Crystal Palace.

But getting Jesus was the coup we needed, he's lifted the entire offense.

Nketiah as well tbf and I've never been a fan, but if he can keep helping to provide those goals here and there when called upon it'll be good for the team, we've needed goal getters again for quite sometime.

Auba ran flat then Laca, its been a bad dry patch for our recent strikers, hopefully Jesus and Eddie can reverse that trend.

Edu highlighting the new direction we've gone under Arteta and how an overhaul was required. Completely agree with him and Mikel's vision:

Edu: “When the player is 26-plus, big salary & he’s not performing? He’s killing you, that kind of player, because you don’t have a valuation to sell the player - Arsenal, London, beautiful, everything is fantastic - and has a good salary. How do you move this player? How many players with that kind of characteristics did we have in the past? 80 per cent of the squad. That’s why I said to them when I made my plans, ‘Guys, it’s not easy to clean the squad straight away because most of the players have a two, three or four-year contract’.”

Loving the overhaul so far. Here's to more! :arsenal3:

That speech was plastic.

Seems as if he wanted everyone to feel soery for his heart condition. Which is awful but had no relevance to his ramble on about loving what you do.

Sounds like something he read in a textbook then added the heart bit to grab on peoples heart strings.

No wonder we messed up at the end of last season.

Beautiful.

Look at how gripped the players are. He really knows how to connect with them.

And after that speech we went on a great run.

Lineup wasnt that good tbh

Arsenal: Turner, Cedric, Walters (Awe 46), Holding, Tavares (Souza 76), Elneny, Lokonga, Maitland-Niles (Patino 85), Marquinhos, Nelson (Sagoe Jr 90), Nketiah.

One might go so far as to say that more players would be needed in January to avoid a similar situation later in the season.

Stop talking common sense. It’s not appreciated on here.

Out of those, managers favorites in Eddie and Holding will stay on, we are stuck with Turner and Cedric, Lokonga & Marqunihos squad players

I'm naive but i still want to keep Nelson. Apparently he setup the goal. Pepe will leave so Nelson and Marquinhos are our squad player back wingers.

Zinchenko has ended AMN career as an Arsenal player for sure.

No Azeez?

Every single one of those bar Walters has either played or is back up for our first team so there's no excuse to lose to Brentford.

Nketiah is first choice after Jesus, as is Elneny, Lokonga, Holding, Cedric, AMN and until Tierney is fit, Tavares.

We can't spank over our first team beating fkin Orlando and then dismiss this result.

These guys are supposed to be our first line depth, I mean its a crappy friendly so I'm not expecting do or die performances but still.
