Seems like the football gods are fed up and are taking matters into their own hands:

Mertesacker and Gabriel out = CB must be signed
Ramsey out = More game time for Iwobi or Cazorla

Brace yourselves for a Giroud injury if Wenger suddenly comes out and says we don't need a striker
Ramsdale
(Turner/Hein)
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
(Tomiyasu/Niles) (Timber/Holding) (Trusty/Kiwior) (Tierney/Tavares)
Odegaard(c) —- Rice
(Xhaka/Lokonga) —- (Partey/Elneny)
Havertz
(Jorginho/Vieira)
Saka Jesus Martinelli
(Pepe/Nelson) (Nketiah/Balogun) (Trossard/ESR)

Except Iwobi is also injured which was a major bummer for me yesterday.

Any updated reports on his strained thigh?

Didn't know Iwobi got injured. More game time for Cazorla or Chamberlain then depending on the formation we use

Funny , I been using this phrase for a couple years now also that the injuries are the Football Gods punishment to Wenger for his stubborn tendencies in the summer window. Iwobi is said to be missing the next two games and Ramsey 3/4 weeks.

Coquelin and Perez back in full training.

Bellerin expected to start on Monday for Spain under 21s so can't be that serious or was probably just a bruise.

Fingers crossed we make it out of this break with a near fit and full squad for a full point run of 7 games before we play the scummers

We have a dangerous habit of dropping points against lower table teams. I really hope we are past that. Wenger now has plenty of options at his disposal and I hope he uses them wisely. Burnely was a wake up call.
