I get why he left I've seen in it at my own workplace when inferior people get favouritism or promotions even though they're less productive.

Buy back clauses are very rare, clubs tend not to agree to them. This isn't FM.

The player still has to agree to rejoin. A percentage of sell on clause is far more valuable.
