God forbid if we finish 4th this season. A parade wouldn't surprise me.

Haven't you heard, there is a trophy for fourth place and also a trophy for 17 consecutive years of CL qualification. Wenger is a great manager because we didn't lose an away game against a top team. Never mind that we didn't win ... yet again.

I am planning to bring all the family to the resulting parade :arse flag.gif:

Who else is down for the parade ? I have my spot on Upper Street already lined up.

Someone if you will, please give Arsene Wenger a poison pill,
And send him to the morgue or cemetery, because no manager is as stupid as he - ooo yeaaaaah,
Wenger step aside, we have another dose of insecticide,
So whether you are a spider, a roach or even a house fly, tonight you're going to die,
Arsenal - club of all clubs in this world, surely these things I ask, can't be too great a task,
Usmanov, Dangote - don't give up, please give Stan Kroenke a karate chop,
Bitch slap the prick all day and don't you stop, he's part of the reason we have flopped !

Err didn't we beat Chelski 3-0 at this stage last season. So how is 0-0 an improvement?

More delusional rubbish from AW. He has really lost the plot.

He speaks rubbish almost all the time, but in this case, i think he means the improvement, that we go a point away from home, while we lost 1-3 last year.

It was at home
For me the improvement came in a team actually showing shape and discipline
Chelsea did get in as you would expect from a good side at home
But we had chances to nick it as well as you would expect in tight game
This is how it should be always though
A manager showing expediency to manage a situation instead of living in an ideal world where open football will always be the right approach.
The problem is in trusting Wenger to maintain this pragmatic approach
Were it the case this 0-0 would mean more to me than winning a roller coaster
I live in hope

Exactly that. No way we should be going to these places and expecting a whooping, we are Arsenal FC, they should have fear of us, they should not be looking forward to an easy 3 points.

I don't believe we have the edge to win the Europa League. We should try our best to win it (seeing as it's our best shot to get back to the Champions League), but I doubt the mentality of the players and the manager.

Wenger has played 45 teams in the Premier League, whereas Ferguson played just 44 teams. The record isn't all that impressive, considering Wenger has been in charge of one of the richest clubs in England for 21 years.

No, it does not. One statistic can settle the debate only if the managers' achievements are roughly equal. This is not the case - not even remotely.

Ferguson's win rate in the Premier League (.652) is easily superior to Wenger's (.578) despite the two managing roughly the same number of games (810 and 798, respectively). He's also won twice as many (20) domestic honours than Wenger - in fact, Ferguson has more league titles (13) to his name than Wenger has domestic honours (10). I haven't even compared their European records, and I'm not going to because it only tips the scale more in Ferguson's favour.

I understand some fans really love Arsene Wenger, but there's no debate here. He isn't the greatest manager in the Premier League history.
