Two different types of players really. Pulisic plays out wide mostly.

He probably is better than Iwobi though. I say that with no American bias.

Any stats to back that up?

What that he's better than Iwobi?

How would stats prove that? They wouldn't is the answer.

Not that he is though. Iwobi took his team to a World Cup

He took his team to the world cup? Pulisic is going to be the better player. Iwobi will be our tweener. When he's shit he's dire. Kinda like this guy ( the thread we are in).

Their stats are identical pretty much, but still what does that prove? Nothing.

So Iwobi took his team to the world cup and you think that proves he's better than Pulisic? So I guess he's better than Alexis too huh? See how shit that logic is?

It's a piece of flawed reasoning.

It's also fictive and borderline preposterous to suggest he carried Nigeria to the World Cup.

Heck, Alex is yet to become a nailed-on starter for Nigeria.

He did his bit, nothing more nothing less.

Exactly.

Now this doesn't mean I think Pulisic is a great player. I do believe he still has tons of potential, and yes, he is overhyped cause he's American. Kind of like being an overhyped English player and there are a ton of them. But it don't take much to be better than Iwobi. And I don't think Iwobi's shit, but still think all around Pulisic is the better athlete, player, and is better with the mental part of his game too. But like Iwobi, he's also lacking in the final 3rd of the pitch. I'm not sure who is actually the faster player, but Pulisic looks quicker to me, and seems to have more ability to beat players with the ball.

Anyway, sorry, I know this is a Ramsey thread.

Sanchez has more goals and assists, so kind of the obvious differentiation. If Pulisic was better than Iwobi, he'd have more assists and goals in a far, far easier league.

Why not? They both play the same position and Pulisic played in a easier league.

A winger is supposed to give goals and assists. I seriously doubt Pulisic gives more workrate

Well just watch them play. You can see the difference. You can actually see the difference in skill level. Stats don't tell you everything. If you just went by stats, there would be so many players that look worse than other players, but are actually better. You can see that in about every sport.

He definitely has a good work rate. Kid runs his head off. Is it better than Iwobi's? Who cares, that's besides the point as we're talking about over all skill, not work rate. You can have a good work rate and be shit.

There is no difference in skill level. In the end, Gervinho was skillful but had no end product. I'd say Gervinho was more skillful than Pulisic and Iwobi combined

I'll humour you. What skill is Pulisic better at?
