Any time he's pressured at all he's shit. Give him tons and space and time and he's slightly above average, but pressure his sissy ass and he shits himself, which usually means a bad pass or loses the ball completely.

Needs to jog on and join Newcastle, that's his level.

Ramsey is at his best in the final third when he's making runs in the box. Apart from that, he doesn't offer much. His positional awareness is terrible. His passing is below par. He's not too great with the ball in his feet. He doesn't do that well defensively either.

Simply put, Ramsey is way too one-dimensional to be a central midfielder. He doesn't fit into the system we're trying to play, but he's one of Wenger's favourites. What can we do?

Partner him with a competent CM and not utter garbage like Xhaka

Coq and Ram is our best CM duo by a mile

My God, imagine Coquelin and Ramsey in midfield, that's just dire

Any midfield pairing involving Ramsey hardly fills me with excitement, to be honest.

agree he does his best work in final third. if we could defend properly and had a half decent COM who could protect a back 3 or 4 then we would all be drooling over Rambo. of course he makes mistakes but his runs in final third and things he tries to make happen are often for good of team.

This is where an astute and an inspired manager jumps in, tinkers his system and his squad a bit to get the best out of his players.

I've been waiting for the manager to step in for at least three years.

Is Ramsey at that level to warrant an exclusive setup so that we could get the best out of him? I don't think so.

Ramsey's best position is a free-roaming CM in a 4-3-3 or as a second striker. Either way, if we deploy Ramsey in those positions, we'd be disrupting the entire team because we don't have many players with good off-the-ball movement (apart from Ozil and Lacazette).

Alexis is most effective with the ball on his feet when he's charging into the box. Ramsey is best with those late-runs and anything apart from that, he's very average. Xhaka is best when he's pinging long balls. Most of the time we have Ramsey and Alexis attacking the ball at the same time and constricting space for one another. When Welbeck plays, it gets horribly disruptive because he's a headless chicken who just runs and messes everything up.

Our best midfield would be one without Ramsey and Xhaka, with someone like Cazorla, or even better with Diego Simeone in the dugout.

BIG BIG game today. Him and Xhaka bossed that midfield there, freeing up Alexis and Ozil to attack

He was industrious, skillful and supported the front three with aplomb.
