He seemed to stay in his position more often than usual and was better at picking the right moment to make his runs VS always bombing forward. He's very good when he plays like that. And it's how it should be: Make sure midfield work is done and then, move forward. He did very well today!

well played

do find it funny how stats are fine at sometimes (i.e. when its ramsey) n useless at others (i.e. when it's ozil)

To complete the detail and for no other purpose:
2 shots, 1 blocked 1 off target (post)
2 crosses - both failed
tackles won 3, tackles lost....3
aerial duels won - zero out of 1
blocks 2
interceptions 3
fouls 1
passes 37/44 (84%)
chances created 0 (I actually think he should have 1 as he played a good ball to bellerin and 1 to laca)

Like I said in match thread, better game from him and our approach to the game was reliant on him not going completely walkies so good job. not sure what any of those stats have to do with covering for ozil though.

He outran kante as well. And was more effective. Rambo owns kante quite frequently to be honest. Kante still running around west london looking for rambo. It got so rough they had to go to 3 man mid with bakeyako and still were'nt enough.

Was impressed by 2 man mid yesterday. Xhaka was pretty damn good as well. Take off primadonnas and team just gets to work. I dont know why wenegr always give the team away to ''star players'' collapses who will f**k off and cry when it gets tough

Meanwhile rambo, kosh and the like fight for trophies and win them.
