Are Ramsey and Wilshere the new Gerard and Lampard? Condemned to never work together?

Perhaps if Gerrard and Lampard were injured as much, England would have won something

He means they didn't complement one another well as partners.

Funny how a player who is committed and gives his 100% every time he steps on to the pitch is treated with such contempt, it is a pity.

Why is his goal scoring record so dreadful for a goal scoring midfielder then? He scored all of one goal last season in the League, and that too on the last day of the season

His record is pretty damn good actually. Don't try to compare him to a Lampard who has figures closer to a striker than a midfielder. Using the figures posted Ramsey has contributed directly to close to 100 goals in close to 350 games. That's a bit less than a goal every 3 games

Yeah, but he's a Lampard/Dele Alli type player.

I'd forgive his errors every game if he had numbers like those

Delle Alli cannot compare to Lampard, no other box to box midfielder gets close to Lampard's stats!! That's why i said forget Lampard, he was a box to box anomaly, a box to box midfielder who scored as many goals as a decent striker. What has Alli done apart from a lucky season? This season he is back to being as shit as i know he is. Ramsey had a purple 18 months don't forget.

Alli isn't fit to lace Ramsey's boots.

Also, that's 2 wins in 9 without our main man.
