 If you're one of the best midfielders in the world, then it shouldn't matter who your manager is.

I'm not saying he's one of the best midfielders in the world but with the right coaching he could be, just look at Sterling for instance before Pep came he was considered average now he's one of the best in the league due to peps coaching.

You can't coach touch, class, and technical ability though. Sterling already had that, Ramsey doesn't.

That's exactly what people were saying about sterling before pep arrived and you can to an extent if you recall Alex Song debut season compared to his final few years. As for Ramsey if you don't think he has any then you clearly don't pay enough attention to the game.

Again, for the mentally challenged people that don't understand. It's not that he doesn't have any of it, its' that he doesn't have enough and can't do it consistently. That's what separates the good from the great players. He isn't good enough as a CM for Arsenal, and he isn't good enough to take Ozils place as our CAM for Arsenal. He belongs at a team like Everton or West Ham. Unless he wants to be a backup here, then he'd make a fine backup.

Thats not what you said !! You clearly said "You can't coach touch, class, and technical ability though. Sterling already had that, Ramsey doesn't"

Doesn't have enough or consistent enough. There you feel better now?

He has a lot more goals and assists than supposedly better star players

Would Ramsey start for any of the other top six sides in the Premier League? I wouldn't think so. Perhaps he might start for Liverpool, but that's about it.

I don't agree. Ramsey might have a realistic chance to start for Liverpool, but I can't see him starting for any of the other top six teams.

Have you seen Chelseas cm duo?

Kante is the only decent one they have.

Kante is indeed Chelsea's bed rock and one my favourite players at the moment. Bakayoko has been poor this season, but Fabregas is still more than capable of playing as a deep-lying play maker.

For that reason, I wouldn't personally see Ramsey starting for Chelsea.

Agreed a manager who could actually teach him about discipline would do him well!

You think you can teach Hollywood positional discipline??

It's like saying Welbeck would be world class if we had a manager who could actually teach him finishing.
It's like saying Mustafi would be world class if we had a manager who could actually teach him discipline.

If it was so easy, everyone under Pep would be a world class player. Everyone under Mourinho would be world class.

No its not. Ramsey has already proved he can be a fantastic midfielder, he does it for Wales all the time and he shows glimpses for Arsenal. We all remember his purple 12-18 month patch where he was incredible. So its no fluke.

With the right coaching and being in a team that suits his attributes Ramsey would be a consistently very good midfielder.

Ramsey will never be a consistent performer because he showboats too often. When simple will do, he tries a trick (usually a back heel to the opposition). He doesn't have the professionalism to ever be a top player. Maybe a top coach, which he has lacked in his career, could help him see what he is doing wrong, but I doubt it.

You what???

Ramsey better than David Silva? You must be taking the piss!!!
Ramsey better than Willian no way but better than Bakayoko.
I don't know a single Spurs fan that would swap Dembele for Ramsey. On his game Dembele is a beast.
Liverpool play Wijnaldum and Henderson, toss up between Ramsey and Wijnaldum.

Dembele is probably the most underrated player in the league.

On his day no one can touch him. Reminds me of Vieira the way he holds onto the ball and glides past players.

Ramsey is the sort of midfielder who is singled out for bombing forward when that is exactly the trait we miss from midfield when he isn't playing. attacking threat from midfield are hard to read by the opposition. Our midfield looks flat and offensively toothless when he isn't on the pitch.
