Cesc is a deep lying playmaker, he is nothing like Ramsey in any case.

Playing Devil's advocate, lets say Cesc is horrific now, he still has 2 goals and 9 assists for Chelsea this season. Last season he got 7 goals and 14 assists. If Chelsea had a decent centre forward I am sure he would have had more assists.

Hardly horrific though is it.

Everything Neville has just said about Ramsey and Xhaka is absolutely spot on.

Walking around and jogging at Wembley is an absolute disgrace and an embarrassment.

Both need to hang their heads in shame.

Hollywood does what he wants cause he just scored a hat trick against a pub team.

Misplaced a few passes as well today, why doesn't he just admit that he wants to be a CF and get it over with?

This was a continuation of him pointing out the same just before Silva scored the third with ease

Exactly, balls out of play on average about 25-30 minutes every game we play - should the players be running as hard and fast as they can then? No. And Neville didn't do that either, for the record.

Anyway, according to stats, we actually do cover a fair bit of ground. Ahead of Liverpool, unbelievably. Man Utd are in last place - not a surprise. Sit deep and soak up pressure, right?

At least when they try it, it works - to some extent at least. Anyway, here's some assists from the GOAT:

that piece of commentary was the one thing neville got wrong imo

no matter how badly it looked we set out to remain in a deep block, our midfielders shouldnt be sprinting every 2 men to chase down their players when they're at the half way line

Yes, he slagged them off where they applied zero pressure on the ball, were walking back, while the ball was played into Sane, which was cleared and this video starts from there

Really nice goal. Phenomenal player, David Silva.

Man City are so calm and composed on the ball, so beautiful to watch.

To be fair to these two, the whole plan was retarded, but making no effort to win the ball back at 2-0 down is a bit embarrassing.
