Nketiah will be his replacement. We're in a lot of trouble.

We need to find a real captain at this club not just our top scorer ffs, someone with a pair of balls who wants to play for us.

Ooh poor joe. He was terrible again and made retarded pass. He deserve a slap for that

Actually if Auba hadn’t checked his f***ing run it would’ve been the right ball. Either way no problem, Willock aged 19 made a mistake under a very difficult environment atm, no need for his ‘captain’ to scream at him. Screaming should be happening in defence at the 30 year old experienced shitters.

Sorry I disagree ............. we're not in a position to baby sit anyone.

The managers need to get that through their fkin heads, complacentcy at this point could see us relegated, the time for nicey nicey Arsenal is gone.

We're scrapping it out with the dog teams of the league and we're losing.

Too many d*ckheads in our team or inexperienced, we've got no time for that a all.

As for Auba wanting to leave, well, he did his job ............. we didn't do ours.

I think he should go, he deserves more, how many messages does this board need to realise we're fked?

Completely disagree, Willock needs to be told that he made the wrong choice but what is screaming at a 19 year old kid gonna do in this environment? It’s embarrassing. He has to learn in the right way not be destroyed before he’s even 20.

Like I said, if it’s Ozil or Sokratis scream all you want as they’re experienced players who should know better. Auba didn’t moan at any other players all game even though they f***ked up balls and did anyone scream at him for blowing that 1v1 with the keeper?

If Auba did his job we wouldn’t have missed top 4 last year or blown the final in such bad fashion, don’t forget only Iwobi scored for us that day. The other two did it in the semi but where were they in Baku? So don’t cry about CL football Auba or anyone for that matter.

Needs to be sold. He's toxic and always has been through his career. Dortmund suspended him 3 times for his behaviour and the fans ended up hating him and booing him every time he touched the ball.
Right now we can still get decent money for him.
I thought we got our Arsenal back - but we got Emery

never warmed to him

Problem with Auba is that he's a world class poacher, Which isn't a bad thing at all, but other aspect of his game is severely lacking, at the very top level, especially against top sides, you need more than that.

But if he wants to leave, and Madrid are offering Jovic in exchange for him, hard to turn that down. Can’t have another player leave for free

Auba guarantees goals yes but he’s getting on in age, keeping him only delays the inevitable and we’ll have to replace him eventually anyway so why not do it for cheaper now?

No great surprise, expect Lacazette to follow, we looked for a top striker for years and when we finally get two we use them poorly by providing next to no service and don't do enough to keep them,

Auba is too big for this club, we're poorly run, have no ambition and never have a plan, this club is a shadow of the club it once was, owned by someone who just doesn't care, run by people who have no interest in the football side or success on the pitch and full of fairweather footballers who seemingly can get away with anything and still play.

You can't run a football club like that or you end up with a club with no ambition and players with no heart or hunger, everything about this club is the epitomy of mediocrity, even a lot of the fans have been taught that coming 4th and winning nothing is success.

Agree wit this 100%

I knew Auba had a shitty man-child personality from his time at Dortmund and that reaction really turned me off him completely!

Disgusting reaction.

Willock is a kid in this first season, he needs leaders around him helping him when he inevitably makes mistakes, this WILL happen! Remember CR7 in his first few years and how frustrating he was? No young players are the finished article or even near it, they need people around them t help guide them. Not dickheads who blame them and destroy their confidence.

Willock hasn't been great but i honestly feel very sorry for him, he's a kid, learning surrounded by overpaid man child idiots who aren't helping teach him what he needs. His pass there wasn't even bad, Auba just failed to read it, yet he gets lambasted wrongly and yet you have Ozil who in space at one point passed to the referee?

You're overreacting.
Weeks of frustration just accumulated and at that point Willock just was the victim. Could of been anyone. As if players are not suppose to argue. Yes, it was over the top but lets not get carried away here.

Feel sorry for Willock? Give me a break. he's an adult, not a 12 year old.

It's not though, other players f**k up, Ozil, laca etc.. constantly mess up this season but never get bollocked like that.

That was Auba just cussing him off because he's just a kid and doesn't have the same status as Auba as a player.

I know Willock is an adult and should already be taking responsibility for his game and making sure he improves however i'm sorry in your first full season as a pro in the first team, with the team so shit, you NEED a leader, a captain to get behind and encourage the young players who will be extra unsure of themselves with no experience in knowing how to raise the team out of a hole, along with learning whats required to sustain a career at the highest level.

In short you cannot rely on kids to fix issues. Its the senior pro's who should be the ones who step up! These kids will always make mistakes, even the so called best wonderkids do, they are young, they aren't close to being the finished article yet! Auba should know this but he's still a child himself by the looks of it.

The facts are without Aubameyangs goals, we'd be in real trouble, last season we'd have been midtable at best and this season we'd probably be in the relegation zone.

Those saying he isn't good at anything but being a goalpoacher, this reminds me of Wenger who wanted his strikers to do everything, everything exept scoring goals that is, this guy does what it says on the tin, he gets in the box and scores lots of goals, you don't need someone to do all the fancy stuff, you just need someone to put the ball in the net and he does that.

Players like him are like gold dust, there's not many around and we'll really struggle to replace him, especially for the money we're likely to get for him. We should have signed the guy up on a 5 year contract rather than 4 years, no unless we get some big manager who can turn things around and convince him to stay it looks like we'll lose him for a cut price transfer fee in the summer, that's a real shame because he's one of our few quality players who we've once again allowed to run down their contract, how many times does it have to happen before we learn our lesson?

This is all window shopping ............ no matter what we think the situation is this.

He's not going to sign, so do as the club said they would and sell him.

The choice is we either keep him for the rest of this dead season then make £0 or we sell him get near enough what we paid for him and re-invest that in another top player.

I love Auba but if he's not going to commit then he's made the decision for us.

You highlight the good and the bad - scoring goals is off course the good and simply can't be underestimated - however it's a team game and throughout his career Auba has failed to be a team player - so what's the balance?

He was the break out star at Saint-Etienne and it went to his head, the 'Swarovski crystal boots' incident is more remembered than his 19 goal season. He had back to back 20 goal seasons in the Budesliga at Borussia Dortmund, and was well on his way to 30 goals in 2017 yet he was booed by some of his own fans? why? because as his manager said at the time "Pierre puts himself above his team and teammates" and that pattern is being repeated with us, when a massively experienced professional is appointed captain, c*** off a junior player on the pitch? just not right.

It's Balotteli syndrome - why is it always me - we can't afford to let him go but on the other hand he's not a winner ... his club honours are almost non-existent whereas his personal honours are many .... maybe that's because as his captain at BD once said he's "idiotic" all the ability but none of the brains, as a team we need him as an individual we don't want him.

Maybe we should do what all his previous clubs have done, take the money and wish him well ....

That's aubameyang who signed for Arsenal of his own free will and receives a wage from the club every week doing the job he is paid for.
Nobody is too big for the Arsenal and this needs to be hammered home to everybody
The board have done a great job on people with regards getting that mindset in of 4th being a trophy
I have also heard people say why would the wolves manager come to us
Behave
This has got to stop
We are the Arsenal
Not some tuppeny appeny Arse out the trousers club
Everybody needs to be held to account always
Complacency must not be allowed to spread
The managers job at Arsenal remains a top job
To play for the club remains an honour
