he was not at his best today and ruined attakcs with numerous offsides and didnt triangulate well with teamates when balls was passed to feet... good sub., screw his mood.

team first. as with others so far this season.

Emery needs to deal with this little problem with Aubameyang and quick.

He's not a winger. Plain and simple. He needs to be in and around the box. I know he's been scoring but it's clear as day how ineffective he is out on the wing. Emery either needs to change the formation and build around Auba and Lacazette up top or sell him which I hope we don't end up doing.

I'd love to see us try a 4-1-2-1-2. A formation that we can fit Ozil, Auba and Laca in without playing them out of position.

It was Auba's early runs at Liverpool which caused Liverpool to forget about trying to dominate us.

its a tough one, Lacazette is a proper box striker so must be up front, Auba can play LWF but ideally him an Laca should play up front.

But its up to Emery, there is a decision to be made about balance of the team, we are a possession based team not a 4-4-2 defend then counter team, we have too many midfielders who like / need time on the ball, Ozil, Xhaka etc we also don't have elite defenders like Atletico have to take so much pressure.

We need two deep mids that's been helping us a lot.

We need a CAM position because we have 3/4 in the team.

I can see why Emery doesn't like to start two up front, Auba on the wing is a half way house solution to get him on the pitch and still keep the shape.

The only way I see us fitting it all in is by playing ..................

4-3-1-2

But we'd lose width playing like that.

IMO, all three of Auba + Laca+ Ozil should be on most of the game if not all of it.

That quality up front is our biggest strength, especially with Xhaka + Torr linking up well behind them now.

That constant attacking threat is going to make teams reconsider pushing too many players forward against us, because if they do, it increases our chance of punishing them.

Our attack is our best defense.

Auba is the perfect poacher, he should not be played out wide. Lacazette can score from anywhere, but he is too slow to be a proper inside forward. Happy to see them playing together as long as Ozil is able to pick the right pass. But at some point one of the two will have to make away I'm afraid.

I don't know how he won that I really don't.

Is it voted by fans? Arsenal fans surely took over the poll.

He's been scoring goals yes but they've mainly been tap ins. His performances haven't been worthy of being POTM that's for sure.

As much as I can't stand the prick I think he's right.

Don’t see how he’s overpaid when he’s one of the best strikers in the world and his goal contributions has been unmatched since he’s been here

Maybe that's why he doesn't start much or why Wenger tried not to win :rofll:

If you expect from a world class striker to bang goals only against at best mid table sides you are correct....
