Gives Arteta a clean slate to start a project with too

Not to burst your little bubble but we blew 200 mil on dross so I don’t see the point of selling our two best players.

Just rumours though right, not a legitimate source with a 100% track record?

We'll be fine.

For those saying oh well, without his goals we are probably in relegation territory, especially considering I bet Laca is one of the other voices. This is very bad.

If I had to guess the names of those who want out it would be:
Xhaka
Torreira
Bellerin
Laca
Mustafi

I don’t think we’d mind most of them leaving, but as we’ve seen, it’s tough trying to buy decent replacements.

Add Laca and Auba to that list.

The writings on the wall with them, they know they're better than what we're offering and are in the final year of their contracts or approaching it, we're going to need new strikers and what sort of strikers are going to want to come to a club who won't even be in the Europa next year and are mid table?

End of next season

Cya later Auba. Quality striker; but a deep cleanse in squad is needed

Need 100% committed players, focus on youth

Ok good, so we can get some money for him at least.

But yes, it looks like we may not have a choice. A youth movement it shall be. Hopefully these senior players wanting out don't negatively influence our young talent we want to keep.

Wonder if Arteta knows what he's getting into.

If the Jovic + Money swap rumours were true it’ll be great for us

Only assuming he’s lost his mojo at Madrid and wasn’t a wonder at Frankfurt simply because the team was built to feed him. Worth the gamble though imo.

Auba is the popular guy by the looks so when he’s happy they all are and when he’s not they’re all moping around. I believe he started the turn against Emery and was also the one who didn’t respect Ljungberg enough to spark an upturn in form. Maybe wrong, maybe unfair to assume but he’s one of the few with the clout to do so.
