Lol did you see his effort at the end?
‘Doing an Auba’ is now a thing. Not long before commentators start using it whenever a player misses an open goal

You can change the striker.
You can change the midfield.
You can change the defense and you can change the keeper.
But you can’t change the result until boy wonder is around. At some point the club has to see they made the wrong decision on manager… again.

When both your strikers are doing ‘Auba’s’ there is not much anyone can do.

Problem there is Auba and Laca have reputations of being fine strikers. Arteta on the other hand does not have a prior history of being a fine manager. I’ll give the benefit of the doubt to the guys who have been there and done it before.

There isn’t any doubt to give the benefit to.
Auba is shit now and needs to be sold.
We might get a loaf of bread for him.
It was so obvious we should have sold him when we had the chance.
Disappointing.

But why? We’re only four points from top four with 25 games to go. If the manager can stay, why can’t Auba?

DiamondGooner wrote:Well I said it was a system problem for the players we have and it is, obviously, now more than ever.

Odegaard's goal proved it, target man CF would lap those crosses up, not Laca and Auba who should be running at goal, not jumping above 2 CB's at the goal mouth.

........... however guys, lets be fair, that miss at the end by Auba was unforgivable.

I don't get the narrative of some people. NOBODY is scoring goals, is that Auba's fault or the fault of the f***ing system ?!!!

People blaming Auba are just following their agenda, its so bloody obvious the system is wank and everyone is suffering as a result.

No point - Arteta will just kill their career with a shit system and foolish decisions. This is all on Arteta.

Prime Messi couldn’t score with this style of management. What did he learn from Guardiola anyways?

He's out of form, something is off between him and the manager and lot of people say he should be sold. Fair dos. But as said before kick off, Auba isn't the only problem and we saw that again today so a last kick of the game to bail us out of shocking performance is the last thing we should worry about.
