I think he will be sold this summer but i don't think he will do a RVP or Alexis and go to a rival club.

Liverpool would take him for sure. Klopp loves him and he says better than firmino by a mile

If Sadio Mane ends up at Madrid he'd be the perfect replacement for him :(

He wouldn't sign him to replace Firmino cos he can't hold the ball up and his wingers are his strikers.

All I’m reading is that Manure are ready to pay £50m for him.

Do we take it and hope he does a Sanchez? Despite our massive preference for him to stay, we need to learn from our mistakes and invest in youth.

Need to invest in youth, but it's time to shake the academy as well there is something fundamentally wrong with the lack of players being developed to a standard of top team use

We would be mad to let this guy leave. Kick out those two phonies Laca and Pepe. Give all their money to Auba. Play some combo of Martinelli, Nketiah and Nelson alongside him.

Not really....obviously we all want him to stay, but you only have to look at recent history to know it would be a mistake on so many levels. ANY player with 18months left on his contract and not prepared to sign a new one should be transfer listed. If players know that and know they face potentially not playing for that period of time, then they'd think twice.

You can't MAKE a player sign a new contract, but the club is always bigger than any player and it needs to be protected.

Rockape the problem with that is Arsenal are not in a position to drop their top striker, we would be f***ked without his goals.

If he refuses to sign then yes.

Take that £50m and buy a another £60m-£70m striker ......... in fact we shoudl squeeze Man Utd for £55m or use that to start a bidding war.

Someone else will step up, a lot of sports is about form, that or / and we buy a replacement.

If he has 12 months left and is refusing an extension then we need to grow a pair and get active in the market and cut our losses, why hold a player who doesn't want to be here?

We should have sold him in January if he refused to extend his contract.
We'll now get less money for him.
Same for Laca.

That might be true, but better to get rid of an aging player that wants to leave and invest in youth. We've been down this road twice recently. You want to do it again?!

Sell the guy who's scored half our goals this season?
