Laca’s the real main man, show him some love.

How many did son salah and vardy get against them ?

Dunno mate, not my team and my players so don’t care :arsenal3:

Ok to have a random pop at one of your players in your team on a night where he did his job though?

You’ve missed the point of the post then :)

Was it critical of one arsenal player to praise another?
If that’s the point I really don’t get it

Where was it critical of any arsenal player? Please show me.

I’ll leave you to work it out and then you can apologise.

But Santi trying not to even give him credit for his goals is just blatantly hating, there's a difference.

So you’ve also misunderstood the post, well done.

He deserves credit for a good game - well actually the second half.
I think we all hope he can maintain that second half level for the rest of the season.
He clearly doesn't need to score 2 goals every 45 minutes, but he does need to get a shift on to get to 20 for the season.
Anything less than that is a failure - and in reality, his form has really hurt us in the first half of the season.

Don’t forget these goals don’t even count, he needs to play in the centre to score, these were from the left.

He's having an absolute nightmare.

But he always digs his heels in with these things when he really should just stop and put the shovel down.

I'm not sure what he thinks he's going to win, they stopped giving out Blue Peter's badges years ago?

This is what I'm getting at, its exactly the same situation with Ozil.

If certain fans have a problem with a player, all of a sudden if that player doesn't have a WC Messi level game, he's sh*t and should be binned.

With Ozil if he didn't make 10 assists while also doing a Makelele impression running back to defend he was rubbish apparently.

But when your hating on a player your never going to have measured criticism, which is my whole point.

I think you are conflating 2 things.
The criticism of Auba is not because he had a bad game, or even 2, or even 5.
He has been poor all season - up to the start of the second half in the last game.

Having signed a huge contract, the expectations are rightly raised - especially given his PR storm upon signing.

It's simple really. He is paid a fortune, talked a good game, but on the pitch has failed to deliver this season.
Much more than a one-game issue.

He'll be judged on how many goals he gets. Not the rest of the team.
Laca's goalscoring this year is the best it has been for us, so the excuses about our playing style being the reason Auba's goals have dried up doesn't past muster.

He's got to now go on a run of scoring and if he does, good for him... and more importantly good for us.
I'll cheer every goal, despite maintaining my position that it was a big mistake giving him the contract he is now on.
Should have given him 1 year.

Of course when I am right I will dig my heels in :)

Up to you to work out why you and many others have such a bias for Auba over other players. He’s been awful all season and yet every excuse in the book came out for him while the same people lay into Ozil and Laca (for example) at any chance they get.

Shouldn’t have had to spell it out for you but that’s my problem, not Auba. Although as I’ve said, I have gone off him with the way he’s acted since the summer as well.

Dear God I thought I was joking about the hurt being real but apparently not.

Has a fan of a club ever hated their best player as much as this clubs fans does?

Cripps just stop, your wumming is boring now tbh and I’m done in this topic. If he scores a load I’ll be happy, if he doesn’t then I’ll be pissed off as I have been with him most of the season. He also needs to play much better outside of the goals for a 300k pw captain and ‘legend’.

I’ve said my piece, if you want to continue your bias and cheering each other up by having a pop at me that’s fine, enjoy yourselves.

You’re like one of those kids at school with no mates who just goes round wumming then playing the victim :rofll:

I'm the one wumming when it's you hating on Auba scoring?

Lol. Don't think you know what wumming means. It's what you're trying to do and you've been put to bed
