What the f**k could he do with that shitshow of a midfield? Not an ounce of decent service.

His movement was on point. He makes excellent runs and is a clinical striker, he rarely makes opportunities on his own.

He's reliant on decent service. I'm very happy with him, he does exactly what a striker is supposed to do.

had a bad call today from the linesman, I love his movement today we played so narrow and gave him nothing we got the tactics so wrong and were lucky we were not destroyed in truth if spurs had been clinical we would have been embarrased

'love his movement today' ..... What? he hardly feckin' moved .... welcome to the EPL son .... you won't be playing Everton every week .... just standing around and making the odd 10 yard run? that's bread and butter to top EPL defenders .... you have got to do more work, this ain't the feckin' Bundesliga when you will get teed up 15 times a game .... you have to feckin' earn your chances ....

Let's compare ..... Kane covered almost double the distance of Aube ... Kane had 4 shots to Aube's none .... Kane completed 75% of his passes to Aube's 50% .... Kane made two tackles, and won two headers to Aube's none ..... Kane's team feckin' won .....

Was that because Spuds had 80% possession .... nope possession was pretty much 50/50 .... Kane just did more work, this is the level Aube needs to aim for, he's in the big league now nothing comes easy ....

Sure our midfield is crap, but a striker has to put in the mileage if he wants to have any success in the EPL .... Aube has the ability, he now needs to put in the effort .... early days but today should act as a huge wake-up for the lad .....

meant to be
'love his movement ,today ................but having said that he did create a chance today was just called offside, and Henry would not have made a difference today with the shit behind and tactics, biggest ground in the country and we played straight down the middle vast number of Auybes goals in the bundesliga come from wide areas being pulled back low to six yard or further to areas he has made space or on the break comes down to tactics

Agree completely .... he's been 'fed' goal scoring chances by running onto crosses and tapping them in from inside the 18 yard line .... and of course there's nothing wrong with that ..... BUT this is the EPL ....

He's got Bellerin and Monreal to supply crosses ... so that's not happening ... neither Ozil or Mkhi are going to drive into the corners and put in crosses, not against the top sides anyway .... so he will need to get used to working a lot harder for his chances .... runs like the one he was unluckily called offside are what's needed .... Henry or Wrighty would make 20 of those runs a game, as does Salah for the dippers, Aguero at City and Kane for the Spuds .... we need to see that same work-rate from Auba if he wants to be the quality striker he clearly can be .... as I said was shown how to do it by Kane yesterday, that's the same level we want him to be at .....

I believe this has been Lacca's problem as well, adjusting to the EPL is just not easy .... it was great to see Lacca putting in more effort than Aube for those last 10 minutes, he made four great runs and was found on two of them .... enough said about the finish but at least the effort was there ....

He will have same problem as laca, the difference is he has the pace to run when played through. but he is playing in a poor team with really poor midfield and zero wide players of quality. Any striker will struggle with that. Sadly our fans are still in denial of how bad we are and I expect people turn on Auba soon and scream for another striker to come in and just be an attack by himself
