Don’t blame him for going. If my mum was very ill, I’d be straight out the door to get to her. Work can **** itself.

Fair enough if his mother was ill.

100% and all the other cliches. Hopefully feeling the love from teammates and most fans will really spur him on (sorry for the unintentional pun). Still wish he'd retire the somersault celebration though.
Good old Arsenal, we're proud to say that name

100% support for Auba and wish his mum a speedy recovery.
And valuable tip for anyone, make the most of your parents because one day they are simply gone sadly.

Hope his mum's okay, more important than football.

Martinelli should be fit to start anyway right?

It's Pepe who will probably continue starting on the left wing.

As he should after the performance v Southampton. Drop him after that then you might as well sell him and resign yourself Arteta.

As for Auba, come back whenever he's ready. There's no rush.

For once we agree. A couple of weeks away from football makes sense given the situation.
I would expect he'd be back in training next week, depending on the actual situation.

Important thing is we are not all that dependent on Auba anymore. The last few games have proven that the team has matured and is able to find ways to win w/or w/o him.
