Trophies?

If Emery gets the support right with Guendouzi & Torreia or Elneny & Torreia I believe the Europa is winnable and poss an FA Cup.

There's a lot of obvious corrections we needed to make from City, sleeping on Lich was a mistake as was thinking Xhaka is better than any of our other deep mids, how is he even better than Elneny? he's nothing but a price tag.

Also play Ozil in the middle so he's not getting starched by speedy wingers.

I want to see Emery make some serious steps to implement the above because I know he saw it due to every change he made.

Spot on, agree entirely especially with the last paragraph.

This but Torerria has to be the CDM it's the exact position and system he played so well in the World Cup then Ramsey obviously gets one of the CM slots and the other is up for grabs between Xhaka/Mkhi/Niles even ESR could be an option against lesser sides though
Switch Gwen and Torry then

Xhaka being a clown
Ozil having a quiet game
Gunners getting punish playing a high line

All things that I have experienced enough that although it annoys me, I can see them coming for the most part but damn Auba missing sitters is not something I accustom to or care to start seeing on the regular. I like the guy and don't rate Morata at all so of all the nonsense that happened today it is really that sequence which is bothering me the most smh and can't get outta my head :BangHead:

Both games so far Auba has been really poor, he was awful against Man City I thought, and today he was very sloppy. I do rate him a lot! I think he is a great striker, so I hope he steps up soon.

Not suited to being up front on his own. His best performances for us have been as wing-forward.

I agree with this. I think he's far more dangerous running from a deeper position like he does when he's out wide. He's so rapid the defenders don't even notice him till he's past them.

He gets caught out a lot from offsides too. He needs to work on that when leading the line.

Top strikers miss, it happens, but really top strikers will always find a way to score .... PEA needs to start making that happen .... and if we ever want to compete for trophies he needs to do it against top sides ....

He's also more involved in the game when he plays WF.
