The hatred is real indeed

Has a fan ever hated a win more?

Lol, I must have been spot on as you couldn't even bring yourself to deny it.

Like I said, sorry your hero has had a crap season and let the club down.

Not too shabby for a guy who, since Christmas, has had to deal with personal issues, injuries, and malaria -

^ how about these stats

350k a week
2089 minutes played in the PL
10 goals in the PL

A goal every 209 minutes.

Strange how the argument was all about his two 22 goal PL seasons, now the standards have dropped, writing off half a season and yelling about another half of a PL season which has also been below standard.

Please don't try to pretend that Auba's season has been anything but crap.
So far a complete waste of money and there is no argument that can be made against that simple fact.

We're paying 350k a week for player who is as useful as Dany Ings, Callum Wilson and Chris Wood - probably less so given his complete lack of ability outside of his goals.

Been a rough year but can't complain if he has a strong finish to the season.

Definitely on Thursday. Can't really afford to muck about.

If Laca is fit, he starts Thursday.
Why would anyone not want our top goal scorer playing at CF?
Weird.

He has been fit before but spark has been missing all season.
This has been a recurring theme for Arsenal all season -one good game followed by couple of crappy ones. So, keep my fingers crossed every day. There's nothing guaranteed w/Arsenal this term.

Yup has to play upfront. Time for experimenting is done

In place of our top scorer, Laca?
Apart from your fanboy addiction to Auba above the good of the team, what are the possible reasons for not playing our top scorer in his favoured position if he is fit?

Auba as a backup CF is more understandable, but then again he's probably not even the second-best option

Hopefully. There is no way Auba was only fit to play 5 minutes on Thursday. It's worrying that the manager chose to play ESR to play up front, who has two goals all season over all the other options.

Arteta f***ked up royally then.

And we lost.

Fortunately there's a second leg but Villarreal are a good side and we need our best players.
