Arsenal will not allow Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, 30, to leave for less than £50m, amid interest from Barcelona. (Express)

If the player wants to leave than don't run down contract. We should try to negotiate once more. If they don't want too than offer auba to Barcelona.

PEA has to go. He is another player running down his contract similar to Alexis and Ozil. It’s obvious that he won’t stay with us so we might as well cash in on him and see what we have. I say he won’t stay with us because he is up there in age and due to leaving Germany kind of late, he has been underpaid. He wants a big time deal and the best way to get it plus dictate where he goes is to run down his current contract. I think his father or brother is his agent as well so they will collect the supposed fee. He is a good player, no doubt about that. Idk if he is the player for us though. He is ready to challenge for titles and we are a few years away at the very least.

Unless auba signs an extension he should definitely be shifted out right in the beginning of the summer.

He will be, Raul stated no player will be entering their final 12 months, as it should be.

Tbf I'd say it should be last 18 months, no player will sign a contract with 12 months left, its financial hari kari.

I'm surpised this stupid ass club's personnel didn't work that out (Wenger / Gazidis I'm looking at you).

Being out of contract for a good player is the football version of winning the damn lottery.

have been reading various twitter posts saying there is going to be a announcement in the next 24 hours, but not saying what it is, hoping its true and that its Auba renewing a extra year on his contract.

Yeah I know its a twitter account, but its good to have some hope

What incentive does he have to resign for only a year? So he is a year older angling for his next move? I don’t think he’s going to do the club any favors since it’s not like they boosted his profile since he’s been here.

Not been 24 hours yet tbh

3 and a half hours to go before it's up. Tension is unbearable. Can't wait for this news.

Our offense was shocking today, to a man, couldn't even find a pass to a man half the time.

Very concerning.
