PSG are desperate to make a big signing. If Neymar doesn't work out we need to seriously considering trying to use Alexis to get some of their players in exchange.

I'd be happy to bin Alexis in exchange for a swap including some combo of the below -
Rabiot, Kimpembe, Meunier, Draxler or Veratti

Only Verratti catches my eye to be honest, he'd be something different in our midfield, he could be like Santi and play deep.

A Verratti and Xhaka CM partnership would be beastly!

Why would he come here though?
Raya/Ramsdale
White/Tomiyasu--Saliba/Timber--Gabriel/Kiwior--???/Zinchenko
???/Jorginho
Odegaard/Smith Rowe----Rice/???
Saka/Jesus-------------------Martinelli/Trossard

Good luck trying to convince PSG to pay him 500k p/w first.

Alexis's agent is asking for this ridiculous wages to all clubs but Citeh, coincidence?

It's obvious he won't sign for us (if this was just about money he would have signed by now) and he won't go to PSG.

Wenger in all his "wisdom" already f***ed this up beyond repair by not getting quality players and show ambition, only now that he missed the CL money he is making signings that he could have done earlier like Lacazette, we need to face facts and move on.

We should sell and get a replacement with that money before we run out of options, keeping a player that does not want to stay here is not a good idea.

Alexis isn't demanding €500k wages. He doesn't appear that dim-witted and his agent, whilst would fondly fleece the buying club, must be aware that such wages are only preserved for the likes of Messi, Ronaldo, and Neymar. That's one of the responsibilities of agents: streamlining expectations of their clients and at the same ensuring best possible deals for them. Best doesn't equate to unrealistic.

I think we will sell Alexis during the third or fourth week of August for £40-50m if it's PSG or £50-60m if it's City. Alexis will gladly accept wages of £220k to join either. For all the noises we've made, I doubt we've offered Alexis anywhere over £180-200k a week. If we had offered him £280k a week, the symptoms would have surfaced by now.

I think we have offered him very good wages and my take is if he doesn't want to stay we should sell him to psg maybe try to get them to include a player and call it a day 25 to 30m plus moura is fair

Bet you Sanchez does not even know who he is.

Sanchez lives in his own world.

In the lead up to the Aston villa fa cup final
Sanchez was among a group of players that were shown a dvd of arsenal's rich history in the competition
Including Charlie George's 71 double winning strike v Liverpool
It's only Ray parlour at the millennium v Chelsea
Aaron Ramsey's injury time winner v hull
