If we can get a ridiculous sum for him, I wont blame us, but for anything like 55m euros, thats ridiculous and he'd be worth another season here.

When you play as many as he did last season you get these shitty little injuries.

I think people are reading to much into the fact that he's been ill and now this. If he wanted to go on strike he would of done so by now and wouldn't of returned to training.

Bare in mind that it's likely that Sanchez probably would of only made the bench for Friday anyway because of his lack of fitness.

I think sometimes this lack of fitness crap is BS. He's a world class athlete that played all summer long and even apparently asked to be in the Chelsea game, you telling me he at least can't go 60 mins? Also, why did they wait til Wed to tell us about something that apparently happened on Sunday? Just saying, seems fishy, the timing isn't right and it may be nothing but it definitely raises some good questions.

Agreed.
Rest in Peace SE13 :(

I'm actually amazed Barcelona aren't trying for him. The only real reason would be because he's cheap and they want to spend big to appease the fans, but a more like for like replacement for Neymar is very unlikely

Most of the expensive options play on the right wing, where Neymar played on the left. Most of them are not able to replicate Neymar's diving as well as Sanchez can. None of them have the end product Sanchez has shown (Not even Neymar).

Considering how he trains like in his free time I wouldn't be surprised. Absolute mad man.

Is he a world class athlete? Yes
Does that mean he has no limits? No
Does that mean he himself knows what his limits are? Not per se

Sooner or later he will have to be easier on his body as recovery periods start to become longer when approaching the age of 30.

It'll get worse as he gets older, but I've noticed a lot of these sorts of people stay fit, and return quickly but when they hit their first real setback at an older age, that's it, end of career. Think that'll happen to Sanchez too

I'm starting to think we should accept decent money for him. The blokes running himself into the ground. I just don't think he's going to be the same player we are used to seeing any more. Look when we let RVP go to United, he had one good season then fell off a cliff.

I think we should keep him, and get that one good season out of him

He can get lost to any club he wants after that

I think I lean more toward that as well.

If we spent the money wisely and got a replacement right away then maybe take the cash, but that's the problem, I don't trust us doing that.

Like I said before, PSG are the only foreign team willing to meet his wage demands. He doesn't want to stay, and if PSG end up closing the Mbappe deal first, they won't need him. He'll end up going to City and make our season hell.

the next tweet: "However, before you get excited, be in Paris does not mean necessarily negotiate with PSG..."
