Anyone have access to stats showing save rate of shots inside the box vs outside the box? I swear we concede more from outside the box with Cech in goal that we would usually.

Well, we concede goals from outside the box because our midfielders are never tracking runners, which allows them a free shot, compared to other teams.

This has been true since before Cech

I disagree, but that's why I want to see the stats. Could easily just be me seeing something I'm already expecting, but I'm sure the stats will show he lets in more than usual.

True, I wonder where we'd get stats like those though. Honestly, even outside of Cech, the lack of tracking is such a huge issue

Cech's errors here, though Mustafi and Xhaka are so sad :(

Anyway, my point is best proved by the Leicester goal. We have so many people back, but there's literally no one stopping a midfield run

He's terrible playing out of defence, but in his defence, has he been at fault for a single goal so far?

The first half shot from his pass could have easily been a goal. It's also not the first time we've gotten lucky after his screw up.

Dropping him is about preventing mistakes, not rectifying them.

Oh, I agree, he should be dropped, but it's because we have better in Leno

I think Leverkusen's bullshit tweet is to blame for him being persisted with.

Some keepers can play football. Some can't.

He definitely falls into the latter group.
